Badlands "Shell Shock" 5.56 - snake oil?

I believe the biggest gains are in shorter barrels for these.

Badlands 77gr shell shock fired from a 12.5 criterion core with a griffin explorr. This is the most recent batch

The mk12 with the can and mk262 is rated at 2750.

I'm essentially getting the same ballistics out of a 12.5 now that I would traditionally get with an 18"
Out of curiosity, how does The recoil feel?

Not gonna buff out

Curious, what tires are you running? Im real picky about mine for wet roads. I like dunlop american elite or michelin commanders.
I'm guessing, by description, this was an adventure bike.
I run Anakee Adventures if I'll be mainly road and they have excellent grip wet/cold wet conditions.

BTW- Get fixed up and get back on that horse.

Accuracy International Picture Thread

If I ever want to debond my hinge assembly it’s nice to know I don’t need heat or special tools

I already have a counter.

I suppose being an AIAX owner that rifle must have landed on a floor made of marble or Brazilian Rosewood??

I feel my laminate would absorb the AIAT hit better

Only the best floor material.

Linoleum.

Tikka T3X TAC A1

I disagree with your comments about the muzzle brake. He has not said what caliber nor his shooting history. We each also tolerate recoil differently. My son who climbs mountains, works out like crazy, finds the un-Braked recoil of a 6.5 Creedmoor excessive. He does need to time the brake though!
On a lite Tikka CTR in 6.5CM for hunting... maybe. On a Tikka TAC A1 in 6.5CM with scope, mount, bipod, etc., ~ 14 - 15lbs, not so much. But we can agree to disagree.

Anyone else have a slow barrel? I’m running a 26” CRB 7.5tw and only getting 2840-2850 with 36.5g of H4350 using Alpha Brass with 1 firing and 109’s.

What is the round count?

And 2,850 is kind of in the wheelhouse of the GT. I know these days everyone is chasing velocity, but trading a few tenths for an extra 50 FPS isn't worth it to me. I got an extra 100 FPS over that when I was standing on 105s, but accuracy really came together at 2,900 even.

That's 2,900 with 36.8gr H4350 and a 105 Hybrid... with a 27" barrel. Makes me think you're right where you should be actually.

Add in the fact that there are multiple velocity bullshitters spread across the forums.
