Army M24 Build Thread

Thanks to all of the thread contributors for the good reads! I have a bottom metal question… I have 2 of these M24 takeoff Dakota bottom metals. I’m trying to figure out why one has H stamps in it and ultimately trying to figure out which one is older.

The one with H stamps (the bottom one of the side profile pic) came off a Remington rebuild gun from 2013-ish as an FYI and seems to have a thicker coating.

Two things I want to point your attention to:

1) is the low point of the center of the M in the magnaflux inspection stamp. The M on the H stamped bottom metal from the 2013 rebuild civilian gun is the same M on all of the Remington parts I have, bolts and barrels. The other is the outlier. Is it possible that’s an earlier part from Dakota? I don’t know the history of Dakota and it’s affiliation with Remington over the years so just a thought.

2) the H stamped bottom metal has a smooth floor plate release button (with an H stamped on it as well) whereas the other has some knurling…

Thank you!

We may finally know who’s been to the island

You and Jacob Rubenstein are doing your very best "to prove that Jews aren't wimps."

I was also just noticing that Robert Maxwell's best-friend and personal-attorney is Antony Blinken's stepfather.

He was the last person to see him alive...
Wrong. The last person to see him alive was his guards and the person that tied the sheet around his neck

I think we're past believing any letters from the deep state making wild and unsubstantiated claims. Frankly I'm amazed at the hubris of these assholes who serve at the pleasure of the CIC. Their conduct looks almost treasonous to believe that the CIC can't hire and fire flag officers at his will. The military did not and should not work that way or there could be an ACTUAL Constitutional Crisis.
