interesting. if there is any truth in this it won't be investigated,studied or reported. the one genetic origin story is suspect. that human evolution took place in widely separated areas has had some legs. it will never get looked at. the story of the "native Americans" being original to No. America has also been questioned at times. that idea will also never be investigated either. an example of the common "knowledge" never gonna be questioned.
i have often had questions about the spread of humans from Africa all the way around to Patagonia always seemed to be to be unlikely when the time for evolution,genetic data and population movement times gets thrown into the mix. doubt we will ever really know.

Is it oriented correctly? Aka, the marks are actually supposed to be top and bottom where they are placed when the bolts closed and they arent rotated 90 deg and its actually from slamming the bolt forward before engaging the locking lugs?

I've just taked off factory barrel and noticed marks of front lugs surfaces on breech face. Same picture Ive seen on another Rem700 with custom made ss barrel with proper space between. Why it happened even with proper measurments and gunsmithing ? Need more than 0.010 clearance between bolt lugs and breech face ? Or its OK and just barrel/bolt/action flexing under recoil ?
