Winner of the ugly prize. Love the blue hair

I work at a location with close to 4k people, I have yet to have an intelligent discussion with anyone with hair dyed with kool-aid colored shit.

Now before one of you degenerates goes and mentions that may be because I am the common denominator, I would tend to agree, but I am talking about a very ignorant group of people, even surpassing me.

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

Wanted to give a shout out to @tmanners for his awesome customer support. He contacted me about my order due to not having the specific action in hand (left-handed Christensen) when building my stock. I exchanged photos and when it came, it needed to be opened up a little bit in the bolt handle recess. Notified him and he called me to discuss. Told me how to do it since I had the action in hand and opened up the area to the proper clearance. Shipped it back to him attention to Tom and he is currently refinishing so it looks “as good as new”. Don’t know many companies that the owner is so involved with individual orders. Awesome service.

Ballistic advantage Hanson Barrels

I've used a bunch of BA barrels. My main problem with them is the inconsistency. Some were over gassed, some undergassed, some pretty darned accurate, some not so much.

If you're considering them because of price, maybe consider rosco barrels as well. After having been down this road, I just watch for sales and stick with the likes of Criterion and Geissele for hard use barrels that shoot better than chromelined should.

For reasonably priced precision barrels, I’ve had good luck with white oak.

Oddly, my last barrel find (due to a thread here) is an Armalite chromelined barrel that I got for $80 shipped that shoots about as well as any of my Criterions do.
