IMO the only true war/military intervention that was justifiable by the US since WW2 was Iraq/Kuwait. A coalition was formed, objective was clear and an end result/exit was planned and executed.
I do hope DJT can help end this ridiculous mess, too many lives lost for what? Amazing what age, time and observations does to ones (my) thinking.

Have always wanted to see a launch live. Was in Daytona a couple of years ago for the 24hr and they had a launch that weekend. Scrubbed all 3 days when I was down there.... To make up for it, I have been to 3 Starship launches and the first catch on Flight 5. I will never get tired of watching a Falcon 9 land, but to see booster catch was just about as crazy as watching the Solar Eclipse. Every ones minds were collectively blown when it happened.

Their new 6.8 cartridge is an update of .276 Pedersen from the mid 1920s. This is how government works, it's all about the process without results.

I used 6 ARC Starline brass and necked it down with a Forester 22 ARC FL die. This was mistake. I found that some of the rounds would neither fire nor extract from my AR. Had to knock them out with a cleaning rod from the muzzle. What I think happened is that 6 ARC brass is a little too short and it would feed too far into the chamber where the firing pin couldn't hit it and the extractor couldn't grab it. Huge PIA. Bought 6.5 grendel Starline brass and used the same process, so far no problems.

Schmidt fan here. If you can't get repairs or maintenance without shipping over seas then slowly sales will sink. Considering prices on new S&B these days , customer service is/should be a high priority for S&B.

Try the N140 before you move to something else. I use Varget, Re15, and N540 with 77's out of 10.3" with no issues. I don't notice any unburned powder in my suppressors.

I consider AI’s a good value in the used market. I wouldn’t pay new prices for one. The MH elite sand AXSR deal at $8900 isn’t terrible but I’d pick up a used AXMC and spend the rest on bolts or barrels

I love love love AI AW mags.
That's why I went ARC CDG with my latest 22 creed build.
AW double stack mags + CRF action + cone breech + properly timed trigger = absolute feeding bliss.
I also love that no matter how much pressure you put on a AW magazine, it'll never bind or misfeed. You can use it as a barricade stop or sit the rifle on the mag and it'll feed.

N135 is a better burn rate than N140 for your application. Vihta has improved the temperature stability of their 100 series powders compared to prior, although they aren't as temperature insensitive as the Hodgdon Extreme line. But they are forgiving to load, accurate, available, and not too expensive.

The other Hodgdon powders are great but availability is probably going to be spotty for any time in the near future. So if you are going that route then plan to stock up in bulk.

Another powder not mentioned here that is very temperature insensitive and clean burning in heavy 223 is 8208 XBR.

For those interested, the project turned out well. Deltawiskey saved the day with a nice stock that allowed the project to be completed. Hope to break-in barrel soon.

I've owned several Schmidts over the years. They have always served me well. One I sent to Jerry to have rebuilt after 10,000 rounds. Got the 6x36 and was not impressed. Jerry told me it's a known issue with the parallax. He left 2 weeks after I sent it in. Lisa was kind enough to send me a loaner while mine is making the trip to Germany. WOW! the loaner I got exceeds my expectations! She said they are actively working on a replacement for Jerry.
