300Blk At Distance

I was getting very close to 1" groups at 100 over Shooters World blackout with the Ruger ranch gen 2 I loaded to avg velocity of 1050 to 1060 and had similar SDs to the above. ~25 fps velocity ES depending on the 5 shot group and load batch. Velocity measured with a magnetospeed. The rifle shoots the Hornady V-Max 110 and Barnes 110 about the same. The 110's run fine in my AR builds as well. Preparing to test the 190's next time at the range. Also eyeing the new Sierra 205 grain Gameking 300 BLK bullet offering for next bullet purchase. Another 50 yds keeping velocity over 1000 fps downrange looks great. Note: < 1000 fps muzzle velocity was super quiet but SD and ES were considerably worse with this combination. 220 SMK over the same components was pretty good still at that velocity.

Failure to eject - Defiance Ruckus - 338LM - heavy bolt lift

Do you have a headspace comparator to compare the base to datum dimensions of the cases before and after firing?

First of all do any of the cases show signs of excessive pressure such as ejector marks?
I realize that you are using a light load but you still need to check that out.
Secondly are any of the cases show signs of not sealing at the neck? Lots of soot at the neck or even dents inwards on the shoulders?

I would take a few of the cases that have been now been fired in your rifle and measure the base to datum length then set your full length or body die to push the shoulder back 0.002” then try them again.

Rifle Scopes Vortex Factory Defect...?

Most of your issue appears to be vertical stringing which made me give a closer look to your photos. Your scope is sliding forward in your rings, if you look closely at the photos you can see the mark forward of each of the rings. On those heavy Razors you should be going a little higher than the normal 18 inch pounds, I usually go to about 22 inch pounds on mine.

New Rifle: Seekins Havak HIT

One of the very earliest Seekins HIT in .308 and is extremely accurate with factory 175s Federal and Norma Golden Target. It does even better with factory 185s from Federal and Berger. Picked up an OEM Seekins 6.5CM barrel from a member here along with some Hornady 140gr BTHP (American Gunner), and is just as super accurate. POI shift is .25 up and .75 left. Couldn't be happier with everything.
