Recommendation for solid sling swivel to picatinny rail adapter

Hello Hide members,

I checked the search function on here and didn't see to many threads or posts on this topic. I recently purchased an Atlas Cal gen 2 bipod and want to mount it to my Bergara HMR pro in 6.5cm. I need to find a solid sling swivel to picatinny adapter. The two I've seen so far are the black hawk adapter and the Accu-Tac adapter. Both listed below. If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions it would be much appreciated!

24-26" 223 AR vs 224 Valkyrie: need data

Need some help guys. If anyone on reading this thread has a long barrel 223 Semi-auto (24-26" barrel), I'm curious how fast you can push a 69gr SMK/TMK accurately (~1/2-3/4 MOA CONSISTENTLY).

Swapped my AR barrel for a new Valkyrie 26" 7.5T tube and I'm at 3180fps with 27.8gr CFE223 and it's shooting .3"-.5" 4- shot groups. RE17 is faster but is a PITA to meter and tricky to tune. The same bullet in my 18" 223 Wylde was 2730-2750. But it's not apples to apples because if the barrel length. So I'm seriously asking to see if a LONG 223 can keep pace with the 224V. I've yet to see an apples to apples comparison (same barrel length and same bullet tuned for each barrel). Most of the time, it's an SPR Mod2 77gr 18" 556 (or similar) vs a 90gr hypothetical 224V load from a 24" barrel that very few people seem to have gotten to shoot well. That's like comparing a pistol AR to a service rifle built for F-TR.

I bought this barrel to prove the Valkyrie wrong: I mean seriously, it cant be THAT much different. But now with real data, actual cases to measure, running through Quickload and testing in the field, I've nearly flipped my position.

I'll be shooting this Valkyrie against my 20" Kreiger from 200-1100yds for personal test because it's the only reference I have. I'll shoot the same bullet (69 TMK) as fast and accurate as each barrel will allow.

Hopefully some of you can help with data from longer barrel 223's.

Hunting & Fishing Post your SMK/Match bullet kills

It seems we have a thread for every other kind if bullet, and maybe if we start another one for SMK's as well as other match bullets, we wont have to discuss the subject on a weekly basis for those wanting to know. I figure if everyone puts up their pics and let inquiring mind's decide for themselves.

LET'S NOT ALLOW THIS TO TURN INTO ANOTHER DISCUSSION ABOUT HUNTING WITH THEM, JUST POST YOUR KILLS!

You'll all have to forgive me as mine are almost all repost's

‘Fascist Pit Bull’: FDNY Commissioner Blasted for Planning to Track Down Firefighters Who Booed NY Attorney General Letitia James

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/...-who-booed-ny-attorney-general-letitia-james/

FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh in Brooklyn on April 28, 2023. (Theodore Parisienne/New Y

FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh has been given a not-so-nice name after she said officials would try to identify firefighters that erupted in jeers on Thursday at New York Attorney General Letitia James, who previously vowed to take down former President Donald Trump.
The Daily Mail reported Saturday that Kavanagh has been labeled a “fascist pit bull” for planning to go after the first responders.
The initial incident happened Thursday as James prepared to give a speech at a New York Fire Department promotion ceremony. When she took the stage, shouting was heard and the firefighters also chanted Donald Trump’s name, the outlet said.
Video footage shows James behind a podium telling those in attendance to “simmer down” before the chant “Trump, Trump, Trump!” begins.

The Mail article continued:

FDNY Chief of Department John Hodgens sent an email to department leaders warning of an impending investigation by the Bureau of Investigation and Trials (BITS) into the booing and ‘Trump’ chants directed at James.
Hodgens has urged those involved to come forward voluntarily to avoid being pursued by the department which is currently reviewing video footage of the entire ceremony.

Per the outlet, an FDNY firefighter criticized the chief’s response to the incident, saying, “It was a political stunt for the city to have the AG there. When it backfired, they sent their fascist pit bulls after guys for exercising their First Amendment rights,” adding that many in the crowd were off-duty and not wearing their uniforms at the time.
Meanwhile, FDNY officials have since pushed back on reports that they were looking for those who booed James, Fox News reported Sunday.

FDNY spokesman Jim Long told the outlet, “Nobody is hunting anyone down. We’re looking into those who clearly broke department regulations. It has nothing to do with politics. It’s about professionalism at an official event held in a house of worship.”

Tract Toric 1-8

Hey all, was looking for reviews on the tract toric 1-8 lpvo and haven’t found much. I have their 4.5-30x56 and love it. I am wondering what anyone who has the 1-8 thinks of the glass clarity and overall build quality (and whether they would have spent a few hundred more for a razor 1-6.) I do not need daylight bright illumination which so far is the only negative I have seen. This lpvo would go on my BCM 5.56 and I would like to stretch out to 450-500 or so.
