Firearms Browning White Gold Medallion 7mm Rem Mag Burled Stock *Reduced*

PM any offers please.

Browning White Gold Medallion 7mm Rem Mag Burled Stock $1,700 $1,600 $1,400 Shipped OBO

Supposedly there's only 3 rounds down the pipe, see the bolt face pic for yourself - I haven't cleaned it.

I tried to get the blemishes in pictures: there's some safe nicks on the inside of the stock, and there's some rubbing on the SS finish about halfway down the pipe.

If you'd like more pics, just PM me.

MOA with Mosin Nagants?

I have a Mosin Nagant 91/30 Izhevsk rifle that I have Modified that so far, shoots three shots MOA. I like it, I like Mosins along with Mausers and prefer to shoot Older guns than new stuff. I do not have a picture of my group but will go shoot one for those who believe there may be some previous posters here that are full of shit and lie about their rifles and ability to do as Bill Clinton lies about everything so here is a picture of my rifle and my group was shot with a handload and to be noted; My rifle shoots less than 2 MOA with PPU 150's factory stuff but loves my 49 grains of 4320 and a 311 Sierra 150 a lot more. I do not shoot off benches and am not a benchrest shooter and never will be. I play in the woods mostly, you know, like the name of this site? Not Bench shooters Hide, it is Snipers Hide. Simo shot a hello fo lot of Germans but not off a bench and neither did Carlos, which by the way is a fellow Arkie so start kissing my ass now! LMAO

Scope rail bedding 'WTF?'

So... factory rifle (Sav 10BA) that I've had for a while. Long story short, it's one of those guns that's always been a thorn in my side for one reason or another. Last year, after putting a new (NSS/Criterion) pre-fit barrel on it, I realized the scope rail was loose - again. Figured I'd fix that thing, once and for all. Got the JB weld out, and proceeded to (intentionally) permanently bed the rail (Farrell steel 20 moa) to the receiver. Cleaned it up, and let it sit to cure. Later, I was a little afraid that I maybe didn't get enough release agent on the screw threads and/or in the holes in the receiver, because I couldn't loosen the screws. Ah, well. The damned thing was glued down tight, done.

Except... the gun continued to disappoint. Couldn't find a load that worked. Imagine if you will, a 20" .308 Win that doesn't appear to like Berger 175 BTs, IMR 4064, Lapua brass or 210M primers - might break 1 moa on a good day. Weird, right? Checked action screws, swapped scopes, etc. Nada. Out of desperation, I tried some FGMM S175MK factory ammo. A *little* better, maybe. Borrowed a different chassis from a friend, and tried it again with some Berger factory 185 OTM ammo. First group was good, easy half moa. And it went downhill from there. 1.25-1.75 moa, two-group, shotgun pattern, stringing, etc.

Got it home, debating WTF to try next. Took the scope off, put it on the shelf. Took the chassis off to take back to it's owner. On a whim, I grabbed a torx key, and tried the rail screws. I mean, it sure *shot* like something was loose. And... while none of the screws were exactly 'loose', they sure as $hit weren't what I'd call tight, either. And they *all* came out, vs. before when two of them wouldn't turn at all. The rail was still on there, wouldn't come off with finger / hand pressure. Grabbed a small 8 oz ball peen and tapped the back of the rail and... it slid right off.

So now I've got a receiver with JB Weld residue on top, and a steel scope rail with JB Weld residue on the bottom, and no bleedin' idea how in the flying f$ck that joint came loose like that. The gun was either in the safe (most of the time) or in a case to and from the range. It wasn't exactly left out exposed to hot/cold or chemicals or anything that should have loosened the bond.

I guess my questions are a) best way to remove the remaining residue without (further) damaging anything, and b) ideas as to what might have gone wrong with the previous bedding attempt that it failed like this? Bad batch, bad mix, something else?

Rifle Scopes S&B 5-45 High Power

Just got my 3rd S&B 5-45 High Power .... Previous ones are...MT .5cm LRR Reticle .

This latest one is DTII+ and .1mrad....GR2ID Reticle...

Having both the 6-36 and 10-60 S&B,s.....the 5-45 is right up there optically!!
Unlike many I prefer the old layout of separate illumination dial, and prefer the older focus dial..

I have an AR-10 243 that weighs around 14 pounds with a thermal scope on top. This will be on a tripod for nighttime coyote hunting. What cans do you recommend that fits.

A few nice 100 yard ten-shot groups

On Sunday this week, Sept. 29, I shot fifteen ten-shot groups at 100 yards with a good lot of Center X. One of them was the best I've had the pleasure of seeing first hand. The caliper shows the outside-to-outside measurement.

Of course not all groups were like this one. The fifteen group average was under 0.930" center-to-center.

Yesterday, Oct. 2, I used a different rifle and a different ammo at the same distance. I shot ten ten-shot groups and had the pleasant surprise to see two of the ten looking nice. Again, the caliper shows the outside-to-outside dimensions.

Again, not all groups were equally good, but the ten group average was under 0.850" center-to-center.

SOLD Athlon Cronus G2 UHD 7-42x60 Spotting Scope w/MIL Reticle

Picked this up last month and haven’t even taken it to the range. Far too nice of a tool to just sit on my shelf in the box! Will come with everything that it came with from the factory including the original box, paperwork, neoprene cover, etc. It is very nice condition, so nice that most would probably sell it as new. No scratches or imperfections of any kind.

Happy to get any additional information, photos, videos, etc. Also happy to share my cell number with potential buyer to prove ownership. Price includes shipping via UPS Ground within the lower 48.

Paid a little over $1000 for it. Looking for $750 shipped.

Not really looking for any trades but will list a few items that I would consider.
