WTB: looking for 2 interior MDT weights to fit inside a ACC Gen 1

I'm sure that most of you like me got the federal release of the new redesigned cartridge. Apparently they are using some type of alloy for that is stronger than brass.

I loading for 7 PRC now and only used 175 ELDX. They shoot real well for me. Federal is making a Terminal Ascent bullet (170 grain) that looks intriguing as a bonded high BC bullet, but is nickel plated. I’m interested in this as a hunting bullet for large Whitetail deer and the bonded feature should work well for weight retention. Is there anything negative about the nickel plating on these bullets? More erosion of rifling or more difficult to clean the barrel, as compared to copper clad bullets? Thanks

I have a Trijicon MRO (RED Dot) with a Trijicon 3X Magnifier. The MRO has a One Hundred Concepts ARD on it. Both have FDE Unity Mounts with the ADM QD levers and a FDE Ranger Wrap on them. The Wrap come off easily. Just added it to prevent scratches. It was a back u set that stayed in the safe. Like new - SOLD

I’ve got a Dakota 76 actioned rifle that used to be a 22-250 but been rebarreled to 6.5 creedmoor.
It’s a floor plate mag. Hornady ELDX 143gr shoot lovely but jam nose to tail in the mag.
I’ve now moved to Hornady 129gr SST which don’t jam but when you stack 4 in the mag the rounds sit slack at the rear and tight on the shoulder.
This means the bolt can miss the round and not feed it into the chamber, just push it back under.

Can this be fixed somehow.
Also can you get a DBM for the Dakota 76?

This is a copy of John Dillinger's modified 1911. The work was done by Hyman Lebman, a San Antonio gunsmith who modified many firearms for the Motorized Bandits. Texas gunsmith Hyman Lebman was infamous for modifying 1911s. He would attach a compensator, a foregrip from the Thompson 1921, and an 18 round extended magazine. Models were made in .38 Super and .45 ACP. Some of these guns had rifle stocks attached to them. Lebman 1911,s in both .38 Super and .45 ACP were found in the possession of Baby Face Nelson and John Dillinger.

I have for sale a Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 F1 Mil-R (C546) scope for sale. I purchased this a couple years ago and used it a couple times at the range. Other than that, the scope has been a safe queen. Unfortunately, I had to recently retire from law enforcement due to medical reasons and I could use the money more than the scope at this point in my life.

There are no scratches, dings, marks, etc. on the scope itself. The glass is clear and crisp. The only blemish is that the removable rear lens cover is cracked (picture below).

I was really into the precision rimfire game my whole life but the last 3 ish years my life has gone a little sideways (all in good ways) & left little to no time for this lifelong passion. But I am back! I want to build something new and get back into the mix.

I am curious who are the major players in the “custom” or high end precision rimfire game these days. I know of the tried and true such as Anschutz, Feinwerkbau, Walther, etc for single shot Olympic style guns, but how about the R700 footprint based stuff? It looks like there have been some big changes at VGW since Mike Bush left, are they only currently offering the 360? It looks like the RimX is still going strong. It seems the Ultimatum Duce kinda dropped out of the mainstream. I either forgot what happened or am not aware, did they ever really get that off the ground?

I will be keeping and eye on what comes out at Shot this year. Is there anyone else that has come to market with anything cool? I see Tikka is still doing the T1X and Bergara is holding their own as I am sure CZ is. Who else?

How about the top shelf custom rimfire gunsmiths out there? My go to was always Mark Penrod and I probably will still use him, but who has really made a name for themselves the last few years, especially in the repeater game?
