44 Magnum ammo question.

I have a Colt 44 mag I love and am looking at a lever action Marlin in the same caliber...partly because ....lever gun...and because I already shoot 44 mag so its not adding another caliber.

I'l looking at some practice rounds bu the same manufacturer one in 200 gr TMJ and the other in 240 gr TMJ.. The manufacturers site gives velocity, 1350 and 1220 respectively. I'm wondering, will the smaller buller at a higher speed do more damage than the larger bullet at a slower speed.

And yes I know if I were carrying it for self defense forget the TMJ and get the HP.

M855A1 through factory KAC SR-15, issues?

Hoping maybe our resident KAC stud @Jack_L can answer.

I assume there are zero issues, but figure I’d axe anyway…

Any issues running 855A1 through a factory SR-15? (Both CQB and Carbine uppers), with 5.56 QDC. Also running Sandcutters, not that it likely makes any difference.

More for wrmfzys than anything. Will probably put 2-3K of A1 through the above gun over the course of a week.

Optics SIG Kilo 10k ABS Gen 1

These have been used a good bit, been to some matches like Mammoth and show some wear/scratches. They function perfectly fine.

You can click the link below to see a ton of photos, including a few I took through them on Friday ranging different distances.

The harness and wind meter were never used.

This model has Applied Ballistics built in.

Small pistol off brand primers

I have been shooting pistol pretty heavy this year and I am very low on factory 9mm ammunition. I have a load with a heavy bullet that shoots softer and works, so I would like to load up a huge pile of it.
Have any of you used Servicios y Aventuras primers? One guy I asked said he didn't like them, another said they seat in the brass a little rough but all worked. I also see Magtech primers, Ginex, Fiocchis and a few others. I have only loaded CCI, Winchester and Remington before and never had a problem with them.
I am thinking about just getting 100 or 500 of the Servicios y Aventuras to try out, then if they work I'll order up 10,000. That would keep my 9mm fed for 3+ years.
I know 10,000 isn't a lot for some of you guys, but I'm not lucky enough to shoot as much as you.
Thanks in advance.

the attacks continue

the attacks on trump and his allies continue.

actually surprised they haven't gotten worse. they will as planned. when the traitorous, corrupt congress reconvenes i bet it escalates. violent attacks on the agenda as well.
my concern is that trump has no reliable armed force at his disposal. dc pol, cia, fbi, schutz staffel, irs, all other fed armed bureaus likely be absent or involved in an overthrow. military is very suspect in terms of ability, motivation and willingness. senior command is all beholden to deep state.

Firearms Seekins Precision Havak PH2 in 7 PRC...SPF

Unfired. Bought this but thinking of going another way, so its for sale. Not desperate, if it doesnt sell I'll keep it, damn nice rifle.

As above, 26" stainless barrel, comes with all that came from factory including sweet little carrying case. Though I havent fired this one, any quality 7mmPRC should reach a mile or more easily. I did it with an inexpensive Bergara. Scope and mount not included.

$1625 TYFFL, save the tax unless your in Oklahoma then FTF. Really looking for cash but possible trades might be:

-Springfield Armory M1A in 6.5 CM +/-$$$
-AR 10 in 6.5 CM +/-$$$
-Smith and Wesson Model 1854 in 44 Magnum With cash on your end.

Description
The Seekins Precision Havak Professional Hunter PH2 is another step forward in the evolution of American made hunting rifles. The Havak action uses 4 locking lugs and allows for a 90° bolt throw. Unlike most actions that place the bottom bolt lug behind the feed ramp, the Havak action places the bolt lugs at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions. This design keeps the feed ramp unencumbered and enhances feeding reliability. The action comes with a pre-installed 20 MOA Picatinny rail with (5) 8-32 action screws allowing for wide variety of scope mounting choices. The barrel of the Havak Professional Hunter is finished with a stainless steel bead blast on the 5R spiral fluted barrel.
The Havak Precision Hunter 2 is hand bedded with aluminum pillars ensuring a perfectly free floated barrel. The newly designed Carbon Composite stock used on the Professional Hunter 2 is designed and manufactured by Seekins to be lightweight but still able to handle even the most extreme natural conditions. The rifle comes with a detachable 5 round PMag or a 3 round carbon fiber magazine based on the selected caliber.

GRT cartridge design help

I just put together an 8x57 AI, because I'm weird and I like 8mm crap and hate money I guess.. I got the reamer inspection report from 4d, so I have that info, plus the crappy cartridge drawing on their reamer info page, so I have been trying to build it in GRT, so that I can estimate load data on something that really doesn't have any published info at all. Can you please lend me some help with this by verifying that I have the information correct?

Thank you for any help you could lend me. This is my first time with a "wildcat" cartridge.. A whole new learning experience for me for sure.
