Firearms SOLD - Gre Tan Rifles 6mm Dasher PRS Gun

This is a completely custom 6mm Dasher bench shooting competition rifle. The action is by BAT Precision, the barrel is by Bartlein. All additional work to the rifle from assembling to seating to the custom finishing on the barrel and furniture was provisioned by Gre-Tan. The optic is a Deon MARCH fixed power 48x scope with the classic crosshair reticle.

Roughly 100 rounds have been put down the barrel, I believe the number is closer to 93.

Amongst the photos is a list of the accoutrements the rifle comes with. Everything listed minus the powder, just because shipping powder is a pain in the ass. Also, only one magazine, I seem to have lost the other.

This is a .3 MOA gun that is absolutely gorgeous. It weighs in at 11.2lb and the entire setup and accoutrements were worth a good deal more new, not to mention the wait times. I moved to Florida not too long ago and no longer have access to the sort of long distance shooting opportunities that I used to, so I’m looking to change up my inventory.

I would be interested in trades for DMR style rifles. In particular, a scar 17 with some nice glass (preferably at least up to 20x magnification), credit towards a SR25 (6.5 preferred), a seekins SP10 with nice glass and some cash, or anything else of note really.

A KGM R6 6mm PRS Suppressor can be included with the rifle for an additional $250.

ASKING PRICE $5000

300 WM Brass with circle on brass below shoulder- cause?

While inspecting and sizing 2x fired Black Hills Match 300 WM Brass tonight, I discovered one case in the lot of brass to be sized, that had what appears to be a perfect circle just below the shoulder.

It was shot in a Bighorn SR3, unknown weather conditions since I didn't see it till now. Would a speck of water cause this, or is it more likely a manufacturing defect that wasn't discovered till now. You can feel it with your fingernail. Thoughts?

I only found one case in the lot of ~75 that I was processing that had this. I'll look at the remainder of loaded cases at the range tomorrow to see if any of them are similar.

Advice needed: Best way to sell a property?

I don't need to be hated on right now, just seeking solid advice on best way to get rid of real estate (yes, inherited) that is in less than optimal condition with consideration of pending market changes that may occur abruptly. Has anyone had luck with companies that flip ("We Buy Fugly Houses"), corporations that buy up property based on zip code or taxes vs. finding a good realtor that takes all options into consideration? Any particular corporations, situations or scenarios to avoid? Would your recommendation change based on desirability of location? I have called a few local seller's agents and so far have only had one respond back (still recent). Best tips on finding a good realtor? Monday morning quarterback hindsight experiences?

Any help sincerely appreciated!

Confused on Varget load for 168 SMK Hodgdon vs Sierra

Rifle: Rem 700 PSS, 26" bbl, 1/12 twist, using federal match brass, Fed 210 primers

Appreciate advice - about to start loading. The Sierra manual has a start load for Varget of 38.7 for the Sierra 168 SMK.
When I go to the Hodgdon site it shows.

168 GR. BAR TTSX BT Hodgdon Varget .308 2.800" 41.0 2514 46,100 PSI 45.0C 2737 60,000 PSI
168 GR. SIE HPBT Hodgdon Varget .308" 2.800" 42.0 2520 41,200 CUP 46.0C 2731 50,600 CUP

Hodgdon web site IMR Smokeless Powders web site Winchester Smokeless Propellants web site

So, should I be starting at the Sierra manual for 38.7 or the Hodgdon at 42.0?

Thanks VERY much

Wayne

Gunsmithing McMillan Fiberglass Stock Repair Work Recommendations

Any recommendations for a shop that can professionally and reliably (as in not take my stock, money and not have no updates or response to status queries for months on end) fix the target butt system that has fallen out of my McMillan fiberglass stock, as well as do some minor patch work on the gel coat (seal the exposed end of the cheek piece, patch up some areas of the stock where the fiberglass cloth is starting to show)?

Since McMillan has become more a “production company” since they changed ownership, they are no longer doing such post-production repair work on discontinued or low volume stocks/molds.

Thanks in advance!

.45 Raptor Duplex.

Is it possible to have a 150gr SCHP and Tungsten Matrix No. 4 shot underneath and be accurate in a 7.62 NATO casing blown out. (.45 Raptor).

I was watching these guys at Academi with these 6 or 7 +1 mag fed shotguns...

I got thinking that 20 rounds of 300gr (SCHP and BB shot or No.4 @ 2300 fps would be WAY better then some bullshit 12ga.

Even if it's for breaching....would a 300-400gr Copper matrix Frang slug in .45 Raptor be better?

No.4 Tungsten matrix shot penetrates as good as low recoil 00 buck....but you get WAY more shots. 15 inches in gel +.

0.5 oz of Tungsten Shot @ 2300fps would destroy 1100 fps 00 Buck. Right?

This load could go through like 2 F-150s....

AR10 with Shotgun Esque rounds seems like a great idea and I have not seen shit online about it.

SOLD Vortex Razor 1-6x24 VMR-2 MOA, SV-3 throw lever, & PA GLX mount $950

Vortex Razor Gen 2E 1-6x24 VMR-2 MOA mild salt. I had it rattle canned, but cleaned it up mostly except for some spots on the throw lever. GLX 0 MOA mount is in very good conditionand wasn't rattle canned at all since it was attached to a different scope.

I'm asking $950 shipped and insured.
