Accessories WTS 4x GoTenna Pro X1 PLI comms

As I have swapped over to different options for group SA/PLI, I am cycling out these GoTenna Pro X(1) devices.

These are 5W dual band (VHF-Hi/UHF) data radios that can support a few KB of data and Position Location Information (PLI) for up to 100 members across several KM of heavily forested area.

These are end to end encrypted using bulk SHA-256/GCM over ATAK/CoT and using asymmetrical X22519 on the GoTenna Pro app. All that to say is your data is secure.

Each device supports up to 8 secondary channels to use for Low Probability of Interception/Detection (LPI/LPD), a spectrum aware type of frequency shifting with programmable jitter but you can also set the power to a few milliwatts and turn off PLI beaconing to fully make yourself hidden.

These technically need a FTC license for spectrums to use, given the power and bands you have access to, but I'm not your daddy. I'll happily program a frequency set for you and provide you the ATAK plugins for your desired ATAK/CivTAK version up to 5.0. I'll also help your troubleshoot and within reason give you support and tips as needed.

Without sounding like a sales dude, these units are the big kahuna of prepared civilian and EMS/SAR and even SOF sector for team level secure PLI. The TAK plugin supports sending messages, CoT objects, routes and limited photography and you can overhaul these on Silvus, Kuiper, 802.11, and other SATCOM or even cellular networks to expand operating ranges.

With the X2s out these aren't readily available and are retailing for $1500/eat plus shipping and tax.

Will only sell as a group (because that's the only thing that makes sense) for $5200 $5100 shipped & insured and with necessary support like ATAK plugins and I'll update them and charge them before sending out. I can also throw in some USB Micro to USB-C cables, and PALS mounts (only 2) as well.

Trade wise I'm only interested in the following:
- RH25 thermal with weapon mount accessories
- M110K7 factory uppers

Feel free to send any questions or comms planning/SIGINT collections questions.

Woox Furiosa chassis is here

Yesterday my postman brought an early Christmas present!

DSC_1531.JPG

I had enough time to open the box and that was about it, this weekend I'll get it together.

DSC_1533.JPG

I'm going to be mounting it on my Tikka T1X but the current T3 inlet isn't drop in compatible with the T1X. The magwell is just a bit narrow and needs to be widened to get the T1X magwell to fit. I talked to Kendall at Woox on the phone and they are working hard to get as many inlets worked out as possible so he didn't have a date for when the Tikka inlet will get revised to include the T1X but said they will add it to their future R&D list.

The only info I can really find about them online is unboxings so I'll skim over that, it's a nice box and protects it well during shipping. This chassis feels great in your hands and the build quality is top notch. The wood is spectacular and the machine work is great also, the recoil lug from my factory stock fit perfect with no slop or wiggle possible at all. Without the magwell the action fit really well and the bottom metal is also an exact fit with one caveat of the depth being a little shy for the T1X bottom metal so it sets a little proud.

Detailed review and a ton more pics to follow this weekend, it was just too dark and late to get anything worth posting last night. I'll add them here in the next couple posts.

New Member Long Range Precison from Wheelchair

IMG_4219.png

Hey guys ! New member here ! Former Marine with 3rd Bn 1st Marines Scout Sniper Platoon (Afghanistan deployment 2010) lost both legs from an IED. Getting back into Long Range Precison has been huge ! Going to a Gentleman’s “ sniper comp in Nevada at the end of this month hosted by Torn Warriors for Wounded Vets. Looking to meet other vets and like minded shooters alike and continue to gain knowledge in this craft !

(Pic is me doing some tripod work with KAC SR25)

New Member from Cali.

Hi, I'm fairly new to long range shooting but I feel comfortable with where I'm at with my .308 Palma load development and I am consistently @ 1/4 to 1/2 MOA. I have watched countless videos and have sorted out the real shooters from the wanna be guys that can tell you what they think but their targets stink. I follow the leaders and have really zero'ed in on load development. I know I have a lot to learn but I'm getting there. Hope to hear from people who are passionate about reaching out to the limits of their rifles and their abilities. I'm sure the .308 haters gonna hate and that's ok. It's what I have and I am happy with it.

KRG Mag Guard - stop your mags from binding up!

I developed the Mag Guard for the KRG line of chassis in an effort to eliminate bound magazines.

I love my KRGs but have had several instances where my mag would bind up when my front support bag or a barricade makes contact with the mag. After losing more than enough points…this was my solution.

The Mag Guard is 3D printed from durable carbon fiber nylon and comes with 2 M5 hex bolts. It measures 1.8” long and extends just below the edge of your magazine. I haven’t tested the Mag Guard with mag extensions but can alway edit the CAD file to accommodate your specific needs. Even though these are 3D printed, the layer lines are not noticeable and has a mat black finish that matches the chassis. These don’t look like other 3D printed pieces of shit you’ve seen on here..

I’ve seen some other renditions of this but none of them looked good, were worth the outrageous price, or had adequate length to avoid gear/objects making contact with the mag.

This has worked incredibly well for me and I have seen others struggle with the same issue. I wanted to gage some interest and see if anyone else would find this useful.

Not looking to get rich off these so I’m selling them currently for $20 shipped. So much in this sport is expensive…this small (but necessary) accessory shouldn’t be.

Lifetime warranty. If it breaks send me the old one and I’ll get you a new one. Simple as that.

If you like the idea but want one for a chassis other than KRG, shoot me a PM. I enjoy prototyping and would be happy to make this work for your set up.

Happy shooting

Accuracy International 223 conversion working

I needed a little bit of advice and opinions on this kit. I’ve been getting a few PM’s on the kit since Frank mentioned it. I have a working 223 conversion that we’ve made at the shop. It fed factory ammo really well with a slight stall maybe 4-8% of the time. I can’t get it replicate the issue always but it is an easy thing to overcome. After a few mag revisions and simple tweaks I’ve come to realize it’s a mag issue. This kit is drop in, swap over firing pin assembly, screw in & torque barrel, load mag and you’re ready. This thing has taken many months to complete and figure out everything. I wish it was just as easy as someone said “just machine a bolt face”. Ya no this was a headache, different ejector, different extractor. But none the less it’s working. I’ve ran it in 2 club matches, I think both times Morgan was there. In my opinion it runs great. But after a few trial & errors with mags I’ve got it working 100%, had a few snags along the trial & error process but it’s been an evolution and headache along the way. In the beginning, at our Sotex club match we ran 91rds, I had an issue with 5rds. I never had to dump the mag or clear the chamber from a double feed. But extending the spring and tweaking the mag has cleared the issue as all trial & errors do. You learn, adapt and overcome.

Current and final revision was sent off for hardening and going to try modding a mag to maybe ??help with feeding. I’m still going to fiddle with this and currently getting another kit to a good friend and Sotex shooter to have two testers to see what can fail and if we can work out the kinks on the kit.
