A friend was disappointed in the accuracy of his new factory rifle. He sent it back for evaluation. He received 4, 3-shot test targets from the manufacturer QC department using 2 different types of factory loads from a single major ammunition manufacturer. All 4 of the groups were nearly identical at ~0.75”.

I tried to tell him that was not only acceptable but actually pretty good.

Just purchased my first custom build from Alamo Precision in 300prc. Planning for atacr 7-35 or vortex gen 3 6-36 glass but any recommendations for one piece mounts? Really don’t want to skimp on this setup. Any advice would be welcome. Currently eyeing the Hawkins one piece 20moa

Lost my ambition with respect to pursuing my Amateur Radio operators license. I have two of these units. Both are unused. One has been built up into what you see in the pics. The other is still in the box. I have everything to build up the other radio and it will be included with the purchase.
Original packaging is included with both radios. These 857’s are no longer made. They are excellent radios that handle HF/VHF/UHF. Both radios are the U.S. version. They Are not the lower powered radios from outside the U.S. Will not include the batteries, as I’m not sure I can ship them. If I can, then they’ll be included. Not really looking for trades, but feel free to ask. Just don’t get all butt hurt if I say “No Thank you”.

Hello. I have a DD5v3 (16" .308) with a Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 scope. Looking for a lighter weight but sturdy PRS stock, something with an adjustable cheek piece at the least.

I'm currently looking at the PRS Lite and the B5 Collapsable Precision Short, the PRS Lite can't take monopods but is lighter and cheaper.

Any thoughts on the two options?

Incredibly rare SAN 511 Rifle, serial number 34 - Less than 10 of these in the US! Comes with reflex style 1 of 1 B&T USA made 3D printed suppressor.

SAN 511 sniper / anti-materiel rifle is an improved version of the OM Nemesis rifle, which was developed by Swiss company AMSD several years ago. All manufacturing rights and documentation for Nemesis were sold by AMSD to SAN Swiss Arms AG (former SIG Arms factory, now member of international SIG SAUER group) in 2010.

SAN 511 sniper / anti-materiel rifle is manually operated, rotary bolt action weapon. It is built around aluminum alloy receiver, which is possible due to bolt locking directly to the barrel extension. Precision made barrel is free floated and equipped with muzzle brake and/or optional sound suppressor (silencer). Rifle has extended Picatinny rails for both top and side mounting accessories. Rifle is fed from detachable box magazines with 5-round capacity and also has mag insert for single feed loading. Side-folding shoulder stock can be easily adjusted to user preferences, and is fitted with adjustable, folding rear support leg. Folding adjustable bipod is attached to the forend, and rifle can be fired either from ground or other support (for maximum accuracy) or off the shoulder (in emergency situations). Sighting means are provided by telescope or night sights, installed by the user onto integral Picatinny rail, running at the top of the receiver. Additional accessory rails are provided on both sides of the receiver.
