Accessories Garmin Tactixs Delta, Solar, AB

I bought this watch when they first dropped with AB. I think in 2020. It's the newer Tactix Delta with Solar and AB. It's worked flawlessly. I just used it during a match last month and I use it every hunting season. I paid about $1300 for it. I recently bought a mechanical watch and just haven't worn this day to day so I'm letting it go. There is no malfunction or damage to it. It works as perfectly as it did when I bought it. The bezel and buttons have some natural wear to the DLC but there's no nicks or scratches or dents. I pulled the screen protector off to clean the watch up and took detailed pictures of the face. There isn't a single scratch or mark that I can find. I will include a new screen protector with the purchase. I believe it came with a nylon band, but I can't find it. There are two rubber straps that are unused. I installed one of them on the watch for the photos and the other one will be included in the box. Charge cable comes with it of course.

$600 styd, PP F&F, Venmo, or Zelle

2025 Scout Sniper Association M40A5 rifle raffle

e993f623-96e3-485a-89fb-d177bb566a1a.png

Well, gentlemen, it's that time of the year again! We're about a month out from drawing the winner for an epic M40A5 clone build, the rifle raffle ends on May 5th.

I donated this rifle to the Scout Sniper Association (SSA) in order to help raise money for the Marine Scout Sniper community through the SSA. The SSA is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization and 100% of the funds raised from this rifle raffle will be used to fulfill the SSA's mission. This includes supporting active duty and reserve Scout Sniper units, as well as helping out gold star families who have tragically lost their Scout Sniper family member. The SSA is a phenomenal organization and they do incredible things for the Scout Sniper community, and any support for the SSA is greatly appreciated.

This year's raffle rifle is an M40A5 clone build, and it was assembled by 2 amazing Marine 2112 armors - Jake Meyers and Deven Huffman. Both of these Marines donated their time and efforts to build this M40A5 sniper rifle. These 2112 armorers have personally built dozens of sniper rifles for Marine Scout Snipers to use in combat. This first-hand experience ensures that this M40A5 was meticulously built to the original USMC M40A5 specifications, with no detail being overlooked.

This is truly an extraordinary clone rifle, and since it's not a vintage gun, its modern features make it a very versatile rifle. You can take it to the shooting range, take it into the field hunting, shoot competition matches with it, etc. Whomever wins this rifle is getting an amazing gun that isn't just historical, it's also very usable! This isn't a wall hanger, it's a rifle that's built to take on many years of hard use. The M40A5 kit also includes many of the SL3 accessories, so it's a complete package.

You can purchase raffle tickets for this epic M40A5 sniper rifle at this link:

Please let me know if anyone has any questions, and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you very much for your support and I wish everyone luck with their raffle tickets!

Here is the actual prize M40A5 sniper rifle being test fired by members of the USMC shooting team. They easily achieved sub-MOA performance with standard M118LR ammunition, and they really enjoyed shooting this rifle. It's high praise all-round for this M40A5:

Accessories Chamber reamers for sale

Text me for pics of reamer and whatever info I have. 4804678090

These are good live pilot finishing reamers with 10-15 uses on each. Plenty of life left. Hell I don’t even like reamers until they’ve cut 10+ chambers.

I bought these at the start of my career about 14 years ago and back then deferred to the tool makers suggestions or just bought a saami reamer. Now all my reamers come from JGS and they mark the shank of each one with critical specs. Having every detail lasered onto the side of your reamer is priceless… but 14 years ago I hadn’t realized that yet.

Reamers should be saami minimum body, and in most cases a saami fb/throat. You can often look at the throat grind and get an idea of how long it is, and 1-30 seems to be the most common lead angle by far, so I can usually look at a reamer and have some idea of its throat dimensions.

300 win mag HSS print #T23217
$60
Looks like a shorter saami throat, should be fine for 300wm factory ammo.

6.5x47 Lapua HSS
$60 shipped
Looks like a typical x47 throat… like .150” fb

7 Rem mag HSS PTG 190982
.090” fb 1-30 lead
.317 neck
$60 shipped
This reamer has its specs printed on it

338 Lapua mag PTG
$60 shipped
box says T23218 from PTG. It built some accurate lapuas 10 years ago but I can’t guess the freebore dimensions by looking at this one. It looks pretty long, like .160” fb or so, which I say is long because of the magazine length restrictions the 338lapua faces. 3.850” just ain’t long enough with the 300gr berger elites unless you have very little freebore. The older 300s and the 250s/285s seemed to easily fit 3.850” with some throat length and still reach lands, but lately with guys shooting the 300gr Berger elites I’ve had to use my shortest throated Lapua reamer(.070”)

.Gov Deferred Resignation

Work at the Forest Circus. Seriously thinking of getting out going into teaching and working part time as a forester. I could make the same or more and actually be home and spend time with my family. Stupid shit was going on under Biden and stupid shit is still going on now. We lost some good people due to Rifs and what not but the same idiots are still around and will be for sometime. Its going to be a while until things are fixed. Not being anti Trump, just burnt out on some of the things I deal with in the FS but would not deal with in the Private sector. Grass isn't always greener. I'm ready to just work on my own, I went through licensing, I have my own equipment, I can write management plans, do tsi, mark timber, NNIS treatments ect on my own with private landowners.

I guess the big question is, if I take the deferred resignation would that screw up any chance of getting another job? I am not sure how to explain that one away during an interview. I'm assuming the right answer is to wait until a new opportunity arrives but I am not sure.

Would upgrading my suppressor or optic help more?

So I'm looking to upgrade either my scope or suppressor for my 6GT build. Right now I have a Specwar 762, looking at a Scythe Ti that would be shorter, lighter and direct thread instead of using a muzzle device and QD. My current scope is the new Gen 2 Athlon Midas Tac 5-30x, and looking at a Gen 2 Razor 4.5-27x or something similar (that's the max budget). Which would make the biggest difference for someone doing light competition shooting and slapping steel at long range just for fun?
