Since the 308 tactical seems to be popular I decided to journal the path I have taken with mine for future reference when posters ask about a 308 Remington Tactical
I will skip the pic what it looks like new as I sure you have seen them.
First upgrade was the stock, switched to a HS precision PSS style, and dropped in a rifle basix trigger.
That was ok but I was never fond of the feel of the stock. So I moved on to a McMillan A-5
That was nice but wanted something a little lighter so I tried a Manners T-4
Then I decided I wanted to use that stock for something else so I looked for a good replacement and fell head over heels for the B&C light tactical. Decided to bed it first.

Roughing it up
A little shoe polish, clay and tape
A smear here and there
