Who makes a decent illuminated floating dot riflescope whose dot won't cover much of the intended target, all mine are live, I had been using a Vortex V-brite on a cheap crossfire, it worked but I need an upgrade. Is a floating cross reticle such as Steiner makes on their predator series an option, just seems like a flotaing dot no crosshairs attached is fast and more precise. I need some help before Doug I make Doug at Cameraland crazy. Have entertained so far a Hawke with a dot however it seems a little large at 0.625, in a sfp would that not matter? Also predator series with the Steiner E3 reticle , both potentials are illuminated. $1000.00 is about where I need to be.

You'll need to wrap a rubber band over the turret knobs because they'll tear your hands up otherwise, but the glass on these is great for the $. I personally can't handle modding a scope I paid $1k for. Rather pay $2.5k and have it work the way I want.
Pretty slow in refunding, but CLNY did a full refund when I returned one of these because of the turret sharp issue. Buy with confidence from them.

The Arken VPR FFP reticle has a VERY fine center dot and an open center design you might like. Personally, I'm a fan of it...So much so, I now have 4 of their scopes. They're not top-tier by any means, but for the money, they really hit hard in the $1,000 and under category.

pretty much any modern scope has a center dot that's SIGNIFANTLY smaller than the 1/2 moa on the vbrite
