I got a new 223 trainer barrel spun up recently. I want to paint it myself but not sure what pattern to go with. Looking for some inspiration on how to rattlecan this thing and still have it look good.

Slide the mesh packing material back overthe barrel, and then Alumihide it. Let it dry and take off the mesh. Very cool pattern.

I have this done on another barrel and really like the look. I was just trying to see if there was something else out there to try.

Kind of thinking of an angular camo maybe.

Yes, paint is not permanent. Especially not rattle can paint!

I'm trying an angular camo pattern and If I don't like it, I'll just take paint/laquer thinner to it and wipe it away.
