cant complain about shooting...except the MIL thing lolIt's not that easy.
3 kids at home, oldest daughter and husband coming over and the MIL coming over.
Then there's that pesky money thing that's always in the way.
If I had lots of property, then the daytime power outages would be spent shooting.

She's a hell of a lot better and smarter than my former MIL.

I grew up Waters/Sheldon area just the other side of Rocky Creek.
I think we were at 14'.
We got lots of flooding on my Mom's street because everything drained to the little canals that went directly into Rocky Creek.
When the creek was over the bank, nothing could drain into it.
Hell, I remember canoeing up and down the street in the late 70s.
She's a hell of a lot better and smarter than my former MIL.

Funny how first wives and MILs share so many traits.
This is a picture of the first stages of any team building activity I have seen, for every team member, except "the one". It usually escalates from here and always involves fire. Sometimes the fire even stays contained.
I wanted to laugh, but it's not funny as things are going to get worse next year. Probably won't start to get better until 2025.
I might just have to take up golfing
