Best place to buy a Lone Peak or Impact Action?

What’s the best place to buy a Lone Peak or Impact action? I saw a thread from 2012 but nothing recent. Thanks!

Mesa Precision sells rebranded lone Peak actions, I have used several on builds and they are dimensionally correct and reliable.

I did not know that. I saw a guy on another forum looking at lone peak and a mesa action along with an impact. That makes sense now.

Lone Peak isn't doing any OEM currently.

ten-4 I thought at one time speaking with the owner of Mesa that they were making his actions? THis was a few years ago. DId I miss hear soemthing?

It might be possible they built a few in the beginning for Mesa. I can't say for sure. I do know they are not making them currently and haven't for some time.

That could be the case, since they have changed the flueting on the bolt since then.

This is my recommendation as well.

He does excellent work, and turnaround time will be quick if components are in stock.

Travis does a lot of builds on Impacts and LP's, he's squared away with those actions and is certainly one of the top gunsmiths in the country right now.

I received my impact very recently from Altus. At the time, they had a Bartlein in 6mm GT, so I pulled the trigger (no pun intended).

I bought a lone peak fuzion from these people last week. Not sure if they have any left.

Bugholes and Altus had impacts a week or 2 ago. And Altus had some fuzion Alpine cuts.
