The sil I know about is the complete opposite of my wife so they could still have an unknown sibling.
My thing with the dishwasher is that it reminds me of trying to keep my toolbox drawers organized. My toolbox is just a tad too small so I have to keep everything just right to be able to close a couple of drawers
Did IH have their own motors? Grandpa had a Scout II, pretty decent vehicle for the time.
Yes. A friend had an old IH pickup. It had a V8 that timed off of the #8 cylinder.

That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't remember. Been a long time, and I was young (maybe 8-10 years old) at the time. My uncle (Grandpa's youngest son) had a 66 or 67 Bronco, like this but a darker blue. They would flip a coin to see who was pulling the boat to go fishing...I was lucky enough to be in the back seat of both of those on many occasions going after walleye on the Missouri River back home in SoDak.

My great-uncle Charles built/assembled a few of the Sears kit houses. He told me the first one he did, that he never took his saw out of his toolbox, and all the nails left over when he was done he carried home in a 1 lb. coffee can. Said every board was numbered and called out by number on the supplied blueprint.
So, funny story from my childhood. Dad and Grandpa (Mom's side), both had Lund 16' fishing boats with swivel chairs and steering wheels, pretty high class for where I grew up in the early-mid '80s. We're going fishing on the Missouri River; to launch at "West Bend" cost $1 per boat, launching at "North Bend" was free...so Dad convinced Grandpa and Uncle Pete to launch at North Bend. While we're fishing a nasty thunderstorm with wind, heavy rain and hail rolls through. We beached the boats and took refuge under (next to) a shale cut bank. After the storm passes, we know fish won't be biting, and sun is going to set in less than an hour. We head back to North Bend to take out and head back to Pierre where the rest of the family rebellion (er, reunion) was going on, and everyone camping. Uncle Pete tries climbing the steep barely graveled road with his Bronco, and can't make it to the top...even without pulling a boat.That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't remember. We head to West Bend in the boats, because there's a payphone there, to call the bait shop in Pierre and relay a message to the rest of the family that we are stuck, and they need to pack up tents and sleeping bags to move the camp to West Bend, $15/per camp site. From that day forward, Dad has been known to Mom's side of the family as "Save a Buck Bob".
My brother takes my autistic son to the libs coffee shop where he is able to take a book and give a book. I take my son to goodwill every week to buy DVD s, so I kindly buy him any military related book.

I miss my old ‘66 Scout. It had the IH Slant 4 (V8 with one bank removed) and would go anywhere. Some fond memories of that beast.
Talk about a car that deserves to win.

I owned one of those for several years and took it some places I kind of wished I hadn't when getting out of them. It was embarrassing in the mountains. 25 mph up the grade, find a place to get off and let traffic by, repeat until you made the top. All of that with 13 mpg at it's very best on the highway but like you said, it would go anywhere.
It was the pickup bed model with a removable top. All of them might have been like that but I don't remember. I built a roll cage out of 2" schedule 40 pipe and when summer came off the top came and in the roll cage went and stayed there until cold weather. In the winter it had two sets of tire chains under the seat.
A guy couldn't pack enough rear axel's in the back seat to go four wheeling for a day , and you had better not try much sand either. I think they weighed twice as much as Jeep and Bronco with 1/2 the power.
I don't think I would. However, if your close to there and like crawfish you should try Red Tailz Crawfish over in Beaumont.
