Has anyone found or modified a bolt stop for a tikka 223 that's shorter than the stock one? I'm thinking it'd be sweet to make the throw much shorter and only go a bit past the back of the round. I'm ok with a little gap before it engages the round, but the tikka's have like 3/4"

I'll have to double check. Just barely got the gun from scheels new. It seems longer than yours. I'll try to get a better picture. I may have an old bolt stop from a t3 i had a long time ago that i may try
Def. double check. Both 308 or 223 should show bolt head in the corner of the port.
{ETA - the 223 is further than the 308. Must be a .223 stop of some kind}.

Mine definitely goes quite a ways past the ejection port. Need to take the stop out and look at it but i am starting to think tikka either changed something up or i somehow wound up with a long action stop. Pictures above
