Silencer Central for barrel threading

Has anyone used silencer central for barrel threading service?

I’d just as soon send it somewhere like LRI where you’ll know you’ll get good CS and a great product.

There is a local guy that does it on a million dollar CNC (so he says), he is someone the gunshop uses and I have no other references for him. I figured silencer central probably does alot of these and they know what they are doing.

Do you know if they do Class 3A spec threads? Not advertised on their site and haven't gotten a response to my email question. I like that they provide the shipping box and a label. Very convenient.

If you do go with them, please let us know how it went. Not a lot of reviews on their threading service, plenty of bad reviews on their CS and suppressor purchases. If I’ve learned one thing in this hobby, if one vendor is charging half of what another is, there’s probably a reason. If you’re getting it threaded to run a suppressor I would definitely pop an alignment rod in there prior to shooting.

Yeah, the lack of reviews is a bit disturbing. I have talked with LRI and I might go with them. Like you said, its 2x, but have gotten about 5 replies to my emails in one day from LRI. It has been 3 or 4 days since I emailed silencer central and no response. That should be a warning...and it was.

LRI does good work. Quick too. As a machinist who has cut lots of threads they also check threads properly.

You’ll have absolutely no regrets with LRI. With their work or CS…top tier all the way. Good people. It’s been a minute but last time I had work done by them, there was a link to where you could even see what stage of the process your order was in, with pictures and everything. Chad (the owner) is also active on here helping folks out.

LRI is awesome. They even send you detailed progress pics along the way. Plus just super cool folks.
