HOORAH! And in this case, the Marine went FAR EASY on that little punk too. He probably had a CCW handgun on his person even at home and didn't need to draw it because he already fucked the punk up, had him in a restraint hold and his wife had called the police so they were on their way.
ETA: A long long time ago, shortly after the extinction of the dinosaurs that is, I used to lightly joke about people who wear their CCW rigs even at home. But after seeing the results of brutal home invasion cases where the residents are caught unprepared, I took all of it back immediately. Preparedness is the key to survival, EVERYWHERE.

Nothing in a biological system is linear. Everything follw a nominal distribution bell-shaped curve. A LOT of People are on the backside of that curve and each generation seems to flatten it more.
