Fuck both those guys.

Not a Ford - no tow truck in front of it.
My niece's POS boyfriend, years ago, had a Ford Probe he was constantly working on. I asked her one day if it had the optional heated rear spoiler. She was confused and asked "why would Ford ever do that?" I told her, it's to keep your hands warm in the winter while you're pushing it home. I've never seen her laugh that hard. He didn't think I was very funny, and that made her laugh again. He never did get it running right, but he was kind of an idiot that thought he knew everything. Thankfully they didn't stay together.

The tunability aspect is debatable. Once you know how to tune a carbureted engine, it's just as easy arguably if not easier. I don't need an expensive laptop, or updated software to tune my components, just a screwdriver. Carbs are a simpler design and easier to diagnose when there's a gremlin in the mix.

There's a learning curve with both, pick your poison.
You don't need a laptop with the sniper. It has an attached 3" or a 5" display screen. If you change your cam from one requiring a 600 cfm carb to one requiring a 750 cfm carb how long will it take to get the correct jets installed to get the correct AFR? The sniper will self tune the AFR for all rpm ranges and I won't need another carb.
There's good and bad with either system. You have to choose what fits the application for the vehicle. I am going to put in an overdrive transmission also. So having the throttle position sensor is a need. Even without the cam change I'd have to replace the current Holley for one with the sensor.
I gave $500 for the setup pictured. That's less than a Holley carb and it'll self tune. There's over $3K in the picture if bought new.
I'm a carb guy but I am going with this system for this car. If it doesn't perform I'll eBay it and get another Holley or find a Quadrajet 😁
