Anyone done a conversion? Specifically wondering if there were any issues with feeding from AI mags.

I’ve never heard of one actually done.

I’d say start with a mag spacer kit like BR/dasher.

I tried 450 Bushmaster in my AI with an AW mag and it was a no go, rounds just popped out and wouldn't hold more than a couple.

This made me curious, so I dug out some 50 Beo rounds since the body should be similar sized to a 458 (.54 diameter, 1.65" case length, 2.1 OAL). Can confirm the 50 pops out of the mag as well as soon as you put the second one in. It would take a pretty good bend on the feed lips to get them to hold, and probably some filing so the bolt can also run. The 458 has a small shoulder which might help, but with the minimal body taper I'd think you'll run into the same tuning issues.

I'd think 450 BM would feed better than 458 SOCCOM out of AW.
