I've said it before and I'll say it again. They're not really communists and socialists. Both of those, even in theory, are unsustainable and unstable in the extreme. They only spout the bullshit buzzwords of it to attract the ignorant and foolish.

In reality they're monarchists. Monarchy is the most stable and longest lasting form of government in human history. Through a feudalistic system they have the best chance to retain their wealth and station for their families in perpetuity rather than be on the three generation plan that capitalism enforces (1st make it, 2nd maintain it, the 3rd loses it all). They may not even realize they're monarchists, but their obsession with stability confirms it beyond all doubt. It may not be in vogue to call themselves noblemen or courtiers, but that is how they see themselves, and they will do anything to retain their, unspoken, hereditary titles. They want more than anything to retain their vast wealth station atop the screaming masses.

You might be a monarchist too if you were exceptionally greedy, owned a significant percentage of the world's wealth, and could lose it all in a flash should the worm turn.

Their aims are incompatible with liberty and freedom, because those necessarily involve Lochean supply and demand and Adam Smith's cycles of boom and bust that makes and breaks great fortunes. They will NEVER adopt these principals because they are fully detrimental to their ultimate aims. The words they use changes over time, but their fundamental desire for stability and to maintain their lofty positions do not.

Trump is a narcissistic populist who will shift his position in whatever direction gets his perceived fans to cheer the loudest. He acts like he's the ultimate rouge in the swamp but he's really nothing more than a jester with a scepter trying to get the best reaction from the crowd. Make no mistake, I will still vote for him over Brandon.

Vivek isn't any better, he's floppier than Brandon's dick. But he doesn't know how to play the crowd with vaugeries, his promises are too explicit. More important than anything else, for a guy who is destined to play second fiddle for the rest of his life, Vivek has proven himself to be an Olympic level ass kisser. Vivek is the one thing that could kill the Trump ticket for me.

Trump is playing him like a puppet to try him on for size and see how the crowd reacts. If the crowd is too enthusiastic about Vivek then Trump will dump him. If the crowd too apathetic about Vivek he will dump him just the same. Trump wants a wingman the public likes but not too much.

Simple question; Who is the better alternative ? Either D or R ? Hint; there is no one.

I like Trump. Probably the best President since Reagan. Possibly even better than Reagan. Does Trump have issues ? Sure, just like all of them. Are those issues comparable to, or worse than anyone he's running against ? Not by a longshot.

I dunno. I'll speak only for myself. I don't believe for a minute that whoever occupies the white house is the ultimate leader in "charge". The present administration has been so overwhelmingly infiltrated by the left that neither Trump nor the potato were ever in complete control.

Whoever wins the next election is not at all likely to be our "leader". He'll be just another puppet.

Oh, and all those polls that show "candidate x" leading (or trailing) "candidate y", 51 to 49 percent ? Bullshit. That's been the pattern for the last 30 or 40 years. It's all Kabuki Theater.

I don't like Trump as a person and his politics are unstable due to his personality disorders. I already said I'd vote for him again so I'm not sure where the better alternative challenge is coming from, didn't intend to hurt any feelings.

As a politician Trump is my favorite democrat but I'm not interested in voting for a snake like Vivek.

Reagan took away machine guns and would have eventually increased gun control had he stayed in office. He was the ultimate Fudd who eventually said regular people didn't need AKs and military style firearms. But he did manage to ride the helm on a lot of things that ended up fueling a booming economy.

I agree, ultimately they're all the same. I think neither of us have any delusions about the extent of the POTUS powers ... he's not a king.

But I do like a lot of what Trump did in the way of EOs and trying to cut shit programs.

Once we make the list by purchasing a bullet, or a gun, or walking into Cabela's or being on SnipersHide - does it really matter how many more lists they make? To the imbedded leftists in government - we are already viewed as the enemy. What, are we going to be twice as much of an enemy now that we wore a MAGA hat? I doubt it.

Us vs Them has been a "thing" since the beginning of time. It's how humans get shit done. Us vs Them.
