03 Cobra was 390hp stock, AND IRS. A first for Mustang. Although the drag racers immediately swapped to the 8.8 or 9".
2000 Cobra R is one of the rarest pony cars out there. Hand built, DOHC 5.4. Another first for the pony. And, if I'm not mistaken, most "sports cars" of 2k were still using pushrod OHV at the time.
I would not hesitate to buy an 03 Cobra, any time. 03-04 were like 68-70; real power was made, and then forcibly limited. 03/04 Evo, STi, mustang, GTR, hell even the Camaro got an LS1 in the early 2k (instead of the worn out LT1).
I've seen a real 2000 Cobra R. The guy drive the shit out of it and had the local Ford dealer install air conditioning on it. The only other thing he added was a stereo. People love to hate on the Mod motors, but they are a proven platform that respond very well to forced induction.
The 2000 Cobra R and the 03-04 Cobra are still fast, even when compared to cars today, and a hell of a lot lighter.
The LS engine first appeared in 1997 (Corvette) and the Camaro got it in 1998.

To be even more pedantic:
"Thine" could refer to "yours...." (i.e. "thou and thine" = "you and yours"). Perhaps, they are saying, FA and "yours" will FO. I mean, probably won't matter much to you, you'll be DOA anyway!
