New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I’m trying to set up my new Bergara B14 HMR 6.5cm 24 in barrel .What would be a good scope base and ring set up most likely ill be using a 1inch tube and 6x24x50 scope. Most likely will not go past 600yrd
Warne, leupold, egw, mdt, nightforce, Talley, are all good brands for bases if they make one for your rifle. You'll have to look around and research this.

It appears the Vortex PMR rings (made by Seekins) aren't being produced any longer in 1 inch tube diameters for picatinny rails. You might find them in stock somewhere, but you will have to search for them. I would highly suggest going for a scope with a 30mm tube. The ring options are much wider for 30mm. If you're stuck with the 1 inch tube, the cheapest ring I would use is the Vortex Pro. I have a couple and they work well.
