We were there at the same time. I left about a week before. My replacement, who also took my room, survived. For some reason he wasn’t in his room. Unit lost 12 and 105 (IIRC) wounded.
True story:
A girl that hit on me in my teens....ended up having a kid (with another dude my age) at 14.
