With as much information that the "authorities" appear to have on the shooter, I can't imagine that they WON'T find him. And one has to know that the msm are only reporting the half of it (because that's all they have). I think the "authorities" have a shit ton more information on the guy that they aren't disclosing.
I think we're only seeing the half of it. I think the "authorities" know who he is and are following the trail of bread crumbs to see who else is invloved. I think that's particularly true if the investigation fits with the insider trading angle.
I saw a headline a couple of days ago stating that the shooter had taken a bus (Greyhound ?) back to Atlanta. Now, please explain to me how in the hell anyone would know that without knowing who he is ?
I'd think that if the hit was prompted by the "insider trading" angle, the shooter is going to be dead shortly, if he isn't already. That is, unless the Feds can get to him first.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Brian Thompson being a turd, he might have had a fighting chance had he been armed. That's not a 100% certainty but remember the fist shot struck him in the leg.
He was able to limp away and turn around. So if he had a handgun on his person, he might have been able to draw and return fire while his assailant was clearing the malfunction, even with a wounded leg.
This shooting is an example of a need for each person to be his own first responder with his personal choice of a firearm.
