Yeah I am disappointed by this one. My worry is that he is leaving because it became clear to him that the cuts weren't going to be as drastic as he wanted.
Newsmax is reporting (officially) that Vivek is leaving DOGE. He may proceed with that campaign for Gov. of Ohio, but I wonder how well he'll do with Mike DeWine, and whether or not he gets DJT's endorsement. Supposedly, the word is that Vivek's stance on H1B visas is what got him into trouble and a huge pushback from the US working community. We'll see.
Elon Musk will, apparently, run DOGE with the aid of the main guy over at OMB.

Intelligent guy, but glad to see "pharma bro" go. Let's see what he does as governor and maybe I'll change my mind, but I never trusted him from the first moment I saw him and listened to him speak.
