I'm put together a semi cheap night hunting set up, I went with the 335 thermnight. Now I got to get a gun, looking at the Patriot arms 223, was going to do 22arc or 6arc, but I have killed deer, hogs, yotes, and everything in between with 223, shooting either federal 69gr mk or hornady 75gr match, and i got pretty good stock pile of it.

How are you liking it? If you post a video please describe ranges you are filming at and ambient temperature/lighting for thermal/infrared.
It will be here today, if ups isn't running late. Hopefully it does, I'm off work tomorrow so I will get to to mess with it some. The ar i bought to put it on, probably won't show up until Monday.

I will definitely do some videos, with the info you said, you can't find many giving that kind of real information. On a positive note, the owner of the company, I bought the ar from, had the 225 version, and said he really liked it, so he bought a 335 for a little better imagine quality, and told me it was a really good unit, for the cost.

Kyle at Social Regressive on YouTube had a series of his build-up on a CMMG 6 ARC built as an every kind of gun from varmints to predators to deer. But I can't recall if he was putting thermal on there, which is always recommended, of course.

I will run the 223 for a bit, then may get a 6arc barrel and bolt, but I have a matched ar10 receiver set i need to build first, just can't decide on caliber and i want a 6cm bolt gun. So it may be a bit before I swap to 6arc or 22arc

I could be wrong but I could swear that Wade at Texas Predator Hunting (he works for Ally Munitions at Ally Outdoors in Midland, Texas,) was getting around to a bolt action 6 ARC. The advantages that I know of are speed and accuracy, since you are not giving up gas to cycle the BCG.

Picked up my rifle today, and got the paperwork for my suppressor done. Got home and got the thermal mounted and bore sighted. I haven't looked thru any high dollar thermals, but I'm super pleased with this one so far

My Windham Weaponry R16SFST-308 (AR-10) had a telescoping stock (T in the model number.) I changed to a rifle tube and put on a Magpul PRS Gen III. But I like Luth AR stuff, too.
I had the luth in the safe for a while, was going on a 6.5cm ar i was going to build, i will buy another one whenever I pick back up on that project. My other ar has a magpul prs, and i like it a lot
