I was looking into optics options for the barrels from the Armalite Deals thread and noticed this (obvious) glitch on Optic Planet's website.

This same scope is no less than $249.99 anywhere else (namely, Natchez SS).

Obviously $83.99 is a pricing error. Obviously this order will never be fulfilled, right?

I know many have Optics Planet horror stories. They've never done me dirty, and they don't actually charge your account until the item ships. Oh, and it let me use a discount code.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I have ordered one scope ever from Optics Planet.
When the Bushnell DMR 3.5-21 first came out I grabbed one from them.
I was home for 5 weeks after a rotation on a project and was paying close attention to the shipping and delivery info since I stated by signature only.
I received the had been delivered notice and I thought what a hell so I checked by the front door and no package.
I called and they argued with the me that it had been delivered, after 10 minutes or so of back and forth I just told them OK I believe you it has been delivered just not to me.
Then i told them I would be contacting my bank to contest the payment and get my money back at that point they became helpful.
I also told them it was by signature verification to be recieved which also didn't happen.
The next day I was sitting at the dining room table and hear the distinct sound of a 5.0 liter mustang pull up and my dog alerts me to someone at the door and then I hear the car speed away.
Check the door and there's my package laying there, no ring no signature for receipt.
Never heard back from Optics planet and felt no obligation to confirm with them I had received it and will never use them again.
Good luck receiving your scope.

The price of $84 seems about right for what you are getting.

If they fill your order of three, maybe you'd be able to flip those bad boys for tens of dollars

Almost the same but different
I was in the grocery last week and was looking at their thick sliced bacon they package in store. I was looking at the 1.5 lb. packages and they were $7.50. The 4 lb. packages were right next to them so I looked to see if there was a discount for buying more. There sure was, they all had 1.5 lb. labels on them so $7.50 for 4 lbs. I bought the 4 that were mislabeled.

I ordered a March 4.5-28 waited the 3 months for the scope which I expected, get shipping confirmation the scope is delivered. The only problem is it is the wrong flipping reticle, call and they said send it back and we will get you another one in 3 months. 1st and last time.

I bought a Sig tango6 gen2 3-18 from Optics planet for 500 dollars once. They shipped and gave me 50 dollar credit when I called them out because it was missing accessories that were said to be included.
