I am currently building an electronic level and wanted to get some feedback on what features you all would like to see implemented. I know what’s on the market but I feel like there is room for improvement regarding functionality and feature set.
Please state your feature concept and why it’s you feel it’s needed.

I like the separate LED bulbs to display the "level"

I agree with above keep the price low as possible and KISS.

Also battery life is crucial. personally I prefer replaceable battery vs charging. Makes it easy to swap a battery when it goes dead at the range or match.

1) Battery life 2) battery life 3) battery life

I think there is more demand for less functionality/features @ lower price point than increasing functionality/features @ higher price point… by an order of magnitude
Rechargeable batteries or would you rather a simple drop in coin style? Currently have a rechargeable lithium but the option for removable is a simple add…. What length of time for battery life is acceptable. 40h?

If there’s an option for both batteries, that would be a huge plus for me. For me, the ability to swap would reduce the minimum battery life I’m comfortable with.

A battery level check light would be pretty great too.

Do you like the ocular options seen on the market today? Referring to using fiber optics to have the led’s shown on the eyepiece….

This brings me to my next question mounting options and calibration methods. What do you all prefer.

This thing can be super “dumb” or have the ability to calibrate based on mounting position and app control.

On/off switch type? Button or slide switch?

I prefer it off to the side.
I like horizontal orientation.
I've been running mostly ARC M-brace so something to mount to that would be stellar.

Most people use a pic mount which I think the level should be on the scope or the mount that way if you need to swap/ move scopes it takes away any need to check reticle plumb.

For me personally if it's "dumb" (no calibration) and only runs in the horizontal orientation works perfect.

the switch I'm indifferent.

I have no want or need for an LCD on it.
