I am currently about to start load data for my Dasher and am looking at what works for you guys out there (powder, charge wt, bullet jump, ect). I want to keep this thread strictly about data regarding the Berger 109gr Hybrid in the 6 Dasher, so please leave out your favorite 105gr VLD/Hybrid comments. I am using Alpha Brass and rem bench rest 7.5 sr primers. Thanks

I'm in the same boat except with 450 primers. Just waiting for my Dasher barrel. I got 2500 109 Hybrids so this shit better work lol. The plan is to start at 30.5gr Varget and go from there. A nice load in the 2820-2850 range and I'll be happy.

29.7gr N150
Alpha brass
CCI 450
30 thou off
.154 freebore (alpha reamer)

This is my prs load that runs at 2790 fps, with an sd of 8 fps and an es of 32 fps. I've heard that N140, N150, and varget will be similar so like others have said, that 30gr range will be a good start.

I had similar results with 30.3gr of N150 that ran around 2825 but did have slight ejector marks. It was about 100 degrees out so I went with the lower load for safety during the summer months.

I tested from 10 thou off to 70 thou off in 3 thou increments. I couldn't shoot the difference between 30 to 60 thou so I set it at 30 off and will let it roll for the life of the barrel.

Hope this helps with your builds.

Thanks. How long is the barrel?

31.0gr N140
Alpha Brass
CCI 400
2800 FPS in a 26" barrel.
I have around .20" of jump in a .104" fb. The hybrids are so jump tolerant I don't the exact dimension matters. As long as it is not jammed, send it.

I just bought a .154" reamer for my next barrel. I'm going to try a 24" barrel so I'll probably up the charge to 31.5gr to lessen the velocity penalty.

how do you like N140 as compared to N150 or Varget?

31.7 gr Varget
Alpha brass
Cci450
Jumped .020 with a 120 fb on new barrel but haven’t checked it since and still produces tiny groups.
2855 fps in a 26 inch proof

Also ran a lower charge while speeding up the barrel and forming brass with great results.

31 gr Varget
Alpha brass
Cci450
Jumped .045
2780 fps

30.0 Varget 2,710FPS Ave 12 rds
30.5 Varget 2,743FPS Ave 12 rds
31.0 Varget 2,793FPS Ave 12rds

These were round 21-57 on the barrel. 31.0 gr should go up to 2,825 by 150-200 rds. All grouped <0.5 for 6 shot groups. I'll probably try 31.5 next time but as of now i think 31.0 will work.
