AR15 tuning questions…..

This is a very late post, I’ve been real busy…. I’ve got bout 400 rounds through this rifle now and man it’s a shooter….. I mostly shoot 68gr hornady frontier 223 due to price and availability. Hard to shoot consistently when it’s hard to find some of the other stuff….. however it’s shooting the frontier very well out to 500y….. wanted to show my last 8 shot group at 200y, I think I’ll keep this rifle around, also did a little cerekote y’all might like….
Good going. I just picked up a bunch of that Hornady Frontier stuff myself. The 55gr match hp shot really well. Unfortunately, every other round popped the primer. Not due to being too hot either. No signs of over pressure. The primers just fell out and jammed up my rifle every other round. I also have some 68gr coming in. I hope it does better.

The primer thing is odd, I’ve never heard of that….. I think you’ll like the 68gr frontier, it shoots really well in 3 of my ARs and my galil ace

Eh, I've had that problem before with Frontier 55gr ammo. I thought I'd give them another try. I hope I have the same luck you did with the 68gr stuff. Its pretty cheap.

I tried 55,62 & 68…. All my twist rates but the galil are 1-8….. I think the galil is 1-7.5 or something like that…… 68’s we’re substantially better, I’d like to possibly try some 75-77 in this SPR but the 68’s just work & theyre cheap
