I ordered a Vanquish the first week of Feb 2025. In the past, I received the build sheet within a couple of weeks of placing the order. For this order - nothing yet. I asked about the build sheet in Late Feb, and was told:
"You will receive it by the end of the week at the latest. (( OP:End of the week would have been Feb))
We have had some key members out sick this month and are a bit behind. Your order date will stay the same so this has not delayed the process time I promise".
Nothing yet. I'm still inclined to believe the "Your order date will stay the same". Just wondering. Every now and then one will pop up for sale. I'm wondering if I should just cancel the order, buy used. At the end of the day, I'm not sweating either way. Just curious.

I ordered a 7 saum rifle in the Matrix pro 2 chassis on September 30, 2024 back when it was quoted 16-18 weeks i believe. I have just hit week 27. I did order the acid wash black anodized chassis. Hoping to get it soon.

I ordered mine Nov 20. Was told that they had to order a new button for my 1-8 barrel and that it would be ready sometime in April. We shall continue to wait and see

My rifle and first pistol were both shipped on the timeline that was promised...two more pistols on order. For me it was worth the wait.

I noticed they aren’t offering the vanquish chassis on their custom shop rifles anymore. Anyone have any details on this?

I ordered my custom rifle with the vanquish chassis in 6.5cm early Jan. Hopefully it won’t be much longer but the post above with a 27 week wait makes me worry.

Is the ESR the route to go with MPA if you want the traditional BA chassis?

I've had a couple BA Comps and replaced them with Matrix Pro chassis. The ESR has M-lok slots on the hand guard, which makes accessory attachment easy. The ESR is longer, making balancing easier. Between the BA Comp and ESR, it's an easy choice to go with the ESR.

Thanks for the insight.

You are right. They don’t have it any more. That’s surprising. I have two Vanquish in build. Hopefully they still deliver.

I received an invoice for my Vanquish chassis, asking for the final payment. It said "will be ready to ship soon". I responded with - Let me know when it is actually ready to ship, then I will pay. MPA response to that- " it will be ready to ship in the next couple of days". While more than " a couple of days" has passed, IMO, It is still within the acceptable window of the interpretion of"couple of days". But know, not gonna pay until they confirm it is boxed and ready

Wouldnt it be a better quality and price to have a smith put an MPA rifle together? I have built a few for myself and had little issue getting chassis and parts needed myself? One I bought a production MPA 6GT and rebarreled to 260AI and the other two I pieced together within 3 weeks.
I feel like these companies get too big and start to lose quality, a really good smith is not likely to work for one of these shops.

If I were you I would just pay. They only have one person managing all payments and their main shipper is out with death in the family. So a little slow. Mine after ready to ship took few days. But they will get it out.

$3600 rifle for $3000 full custom kr $2550 PMR. Tough to beat.

WHat about quality? If i build one rifle a week vs 10, pretty sure the quality will be much better.
Case in point the PMR I picked up to build off of has loose screws, the butt stock moved left to right and needed to be welded and remachined, they had a cheap angled grip on it, cant remove the bolt without removing the cheek rest, didnt have the front extedned pick rail, and the TT trigger had reset issues when operated quickly, trigger hanger was out of adjustment. also had light primer strikes before adjustment.
I am bias since i build my own.

I hear you, I use their products as well and other than the stock issue all was easliy adjusted. (did take 2 months to get the vertical grip)
I never shot the 6GT barrel but did inspect it and they did a nice job on the chamber. I guess i do thing different with pricing parts on builds, I dont do retail and get my money on the labor side. Really love their one pc scope rings, wish i could aford more than one set.
Keep in mind my PMR was a dealer stock item and not from the custom side, guessing their best guys are on that side.

Update - my chassis shipped. It took 8 weeks from order to ship, which is well under the initial estimate of 12-14 weeks. I also ordered some accessories last week, and they shipped the next day. I was just concerned because this order seemed to stray from my past orders.
So my apprehension was unfounded -

Lucky you. I think rifles may be taking longer. I ordered one more 6.5PRC on Jan 03. Waiting. Also ordered a 6 Dasher three weeks back waiting for build sheet.

I have no issue waiting. I have just set my expectations and I have 12+ precision rifles so not in a hurry.
