No not really , police shot him 9 times while he was on the other side of a fence.
He wouldn’t answer their questions- because he’s none verbal.

And the police are upset because the video only shows one angle of them shooting a severely handicapped teen from the other side of a fence.

Now before anyone gets a wet pussy about the kid having g a knife - well he was in his own yard , being held by family members, on the other side of a fence. But they had no other option - it was obvious he was about to hurtle the fence and go all ninja.

They usually just like to beat and taze the mentally handicapped- but must have been short on time today cause within 12 seconds they shot at him dozens of times and hit him with 9 rounds .
Just how low are the current hiring standards?

It’s only been a year or so since some other hero’s shot the old lady with dementia- through her windows because some yelled hammer .

...We are also aware of the video circulating online, which only shows only one angle, the one where the autistic guy is standing on the other side of a chain link fence.

Do you guys not use baton guns as a secondary less lethal option? Tazer has its limitations and the baton gun can put suspects with a blade on the ground from a greater distance. Especially if the suspect is wearing layers of clothing. Just another tactical option. I understand they also have limitations and can’t be readily carried but in a standoff situation they are a great tool.

Its like they have never heard of bean bag shotgun rounds, pepper spray tasers etc.

I will need to know the whole story that led up to it.

That was just one camera angle.

You weren't there. You didn't see what the officers saw.

A knife can be deadly if thrown. *Only applies to police officers.

Have I missed any?

Like Scotch Egg I don't usually comment on stuff like this but I'm making an exception - those cops need to be fired and prosecuted. To say they were incompetent is an understatement. Employment of firearms is a LAST LAST resort. And considering there were nearby bystanders who could have been hit makes it that much worse. What a tragedy.

I used to live in that area. Friend sent me a link to the video over a week ago. Kind of surprised it took this long to get more attention. Kid was declared brain dead a few days ago.

Locals had a protest in front of the police station/city hall last Saturday. Police were on top of the building armed with rifles to "protect the protesters" because of threats identified by the FBI. Was that really the reason?
Local Newspaper Article

Have to admit, I like the idea of burning the blue line flag.

Yeah right, they aren't protecting shit except themselves.

They remember the summer of love when their Antifa / BLM overlords locked them in their own precinct headquarters they were hiding in and set fire to it.

I'm not buying them protecting anything, I consider it a show of force, and because of it, I say close the station and put the town under the authority of the county sheriff

I am sure I have posted this before, I had PoPo that I went to church with. Wife and I were invited to their homes for lunches, dinners, I have never felt more like a criminal. It was truly crazy the way they treated and interacted with non PoPo. And as stated above two of the PoPo had committed spousal abuse before being asked to leave the congregation.

My first interaction with an off-duty cop was when I was a kid. My mom worked with his wife and we went to their house one afternoon. My mom and the wife took the cop's family car and went somewhere, leaving our car.

The cop loaded my sister and I and his kids in my mom's car and ran an errand somewhere. He hit the brakes and they grabbed and he said "Touchy brakes." I tried to downplay it by saying "It never did that when mom drove it" meaning there was something wrong with the car but it came out completely wrong. He reached over and hit me on the shoulder and said "Hey, don't be a wise guy." I was nine or ten.

When my mom and his wife returned he jumped up and met them at the door and told my mom what I said and made some pissed off growling noise.

But the worse thing was what he did with his daughter right before that. She crawled up in his lap and he sang some creepy lullaby while stroking and petting her, the whole time looking at my older sister with this nasty grin.

Over fifty years later I reminded my sister of that evening and she vividly remembered it and how creepy that fucker was, sitting their in his dingy white t-shirt singing, stroking his daughter and grinning at her.

Unfortunately when someone is conspiring with fellow officers to share the thrill of cold blooded murder, then offering them a less lethal option will not deter them.

For years I had a buddy who was a local cop. He would not let cops in his house, period. He even told his wife, only to speak with them on the porch, never inside. No matter what, even if he got shot or whatever, never let them in. Anytime he came over, I made him wait on the porch, hahahahaha.

Before we get too excited about this tard, how many times have they had to come over and wrestle a retard with a knife because he did not like today's cartoons. This will be the best thing that ever happens to this family. They are down one retard and do not have to earn $7500 a month from the state feeding and entertaining this idiot for the next 50 years. They will get a lump sum payment from the city or county and can go buy luxury SUV's and open a poorly run family business for a few years.

Lol, not that what you you said is overtly wrong, but I'm nicknaming you, Mr Sunshine.

Yep as mentioned above - after gunning down a kid - with his mother sister and uncle standing g behind him the pigs deployed snipers when people showed up to protest .

Guess this one is to over the top ; not even one blue line bandit has sounded off about we don’t know the facts and job is real hard and dangerous. Or maybe in a perfect world pretty much everyone now hates the pigs .

In March of this year a high ranking g clique leader for MS-13 - based in Idaho was arrested by the FBI. To be fair he was not in Idaho during his arrest BUT it is also fair to ask why police in Idaho never went firing squad on this guy?

A top ten most wanted list gang leader - and not only did they never throw down on him they never confronted him in any way and he was free to conduct business and come and go from Idaho to Mexico at will.

The mother arrested for letting her kids play on the playground during covid was in Meridian. Pocatello is about 250 miles east of Meridian. However having lived in the Pocatello area for 20+ years, it would be about normal for the Poky PD to do something like this.

Attorney General for Idaho announced he will review the findings of the investigation of the shooting instead of the county prosecutor. Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

The former-marine cop I've duck hunt with for 25 years (now retired) would not fraternize or hang out with other cops, period. I don't know about not allowing them in his house or any of that, but he just said they were fucking boring, only wanted to talk about work, and viewed everyone else as criminals.

He did take a state trooper out hunting with us once, but the guy was a fucking dork and none of us liked him, so that was the once.

It was always exciting when an agent checked us when he was around, because he was about as rude and obstinate as you could possible be, just daring the guy to write us a ticket for something. He hates conservation agents, but he's mellowed out a lot since retiring.

His lot went down a hill and about ten feet out on the flat bordering a neighbor. The neighbor would cut all the grass on the flat including on his property. He planed a row of fruit trees on his property at the bottom of the hill. The when the neighbor mowed he went right over them, and when confronted claimed he had planted them on his property, which was incorrect (he had a survey). My cop buddy didn't get mad or argue with him other than to tell he was wrong, and he had mowed down his trees on his property and walked away.

That night he snuck over with one of those survival type wire saws and spent a couple of hours working is way through a big tree next to the neighbor's driveway and felled it right across it. They must have slept through it. In the morning the cops knocked on his door, told him what happened, and that the neighbor suspected him of the vandalism. He said, "Ya know, there is a rash of that shit goin' on in the neighborhood! Someone cut down ten of my trees! I hope you catch the motherfucker". He said that the look on the cops face was priceless.

911 call and body cam video has been released, and it includes video from a near by security camera. Body Cam Video

A few thoughts after watching the video.
1) The cops went right up to the fence when they arrived. It appears they knew the kid couldn't get to them directly with the fence between him and them.
2) One of the 4 cops had a bean bag shotgun and fired it once. Why were the other 3 cops so quick to fire their guns without seeing if the bean bag shotgun had any effect.
3) A total of 12 shots were fired and the kid was hit 9 times. Where did the other shots go? From the security video, it looks like the woman was in line with the shots if they missed the kid.
4) The entire video released by the city and police gives me the impression they are trying to minimize any backlash on the police actions.

It is interesting/funny/ sad that their first reaction was “the video only shows one angle “. Well now multiple vids show a few different angles- and what happened is -surprise they rolled up and shot a handicapped kid multiple times within 9 seconds , with his mother , sister and uncle standing directly behind him but the big factor is the fence.

Now picture you or me shoots a kid - a handicapped kid on the OTHER side of a fence because we was scared. We’d better settle our affairs in order cause we are going to do some time

Add a fire arm, crossbow , sling shot the equation is different.

Fence between you and “threat “ with noncombatants directly in line of fire . Equals someone, multiple someone’s fucked up real bad .

But did the cops really fuck up? Really? Actions like this are a common theme, along with the “justice system” constantly releasing violent criminals to reoffend against us non uniformed victims. It’s not a fucking mistake. It’s on purpose, as evidenced by all the “good cops” who either defend this shit, or say nothing as they cash a paycheque and our society is destroyed. The local drug dealers murder several people a year in my small town. Cops show up, question a few losers, leave and come back next time for some “sweet OT”. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Cops arrest anyone who tries to fix it themselves, but leave the criminals to roam free. Prove me wrong by fixing the problem blue apologists.

I just watched the entire video and I'm still as pissed off about the cop's actions as I was before. Cops have no concept of minimal force necessary. While I'm pretty sure the cops didn't wake up that morning and think to themselves "Who am I going to shoot today?" it's like if you get more than one cop it turns into a group think scenario.

Hope you are not Lu ping me in the blue line apology group .

Yes it’s the very point of the bulk of my posts when they rough up or kill old ladies old men kids or the handicapped- Never ever do I see the worst of the worst getting that treatment from the the blue boys .
Over the last few weeks we’ve seen HUNDREDS of the worst of the worst get rounded up by the feds - who I’m also not a fan of but Trumps headship demanded that they do their fucking jobs . And not a shot fired . BUT local PDs still flexing g on the weak and none criminals- just yesterday I posted about half a dozen piggy’s scared to death and arresting a guy going to a Quaker retreat because he had books and power cords in his car - and was some “weird” religious separatist. No laws broken no crime committed. But they find plenty else to do besides go after the face tattooed mass murders . But had all day to false arrest someone for reading a book , in their own car , during a thunderstorm.

I really hope it doesn’t get to the point where vigilantes are returning the favor.

Would be awful

I can't find the story, but awhile back I read a story that happened back in the 80s I think in my state where a guy was watching one of his neighbor's home while he was out of town. The guy thought he saw someone in the house and he took his gun and went to check it out. False alarm. While walking back to his house a cop rolls up on him, gets out and points his gun at him. The guy the entire time kept the gun at his waist with muzzle down and told the cop he's just walking home and then continues to walk home. Cop opens fire and the guy returns fire and kills the cop. Jury found him not guilty.

I'm obviously not advocating killing cops, but it's perfectly clear that they somehow manage to break everything written in our Bill Of Rights on a regular basis.
