Federal .22LR Gold Medal Target Standard, any good?

Has anyone tried this, and if so, was it decent?

I found it to as good as other cheap ammo.

But not on par with SK or Lapua? I just got som SK Biathlon and it shoots like shit, I also have Norma match and that is super incosistent.

Yeah, it was a B level performer way back when, but it is now 3rd tier ammo, better than CCI but not up to SK rifle match ( which I consider to be B+)

Biathlon is a very specialized loading aimed at reasonably short range ( 50 meters or so). Not a match round!

Right now I would say go with Eley or RWS.

I found it was Not as good as CCI-SV, and for my VMTR the SK-RM is the best 'mid-range cost' ammo. I just buy a brick or two and know it's better than 'most other stuff' out there. I don't compete so Lot #s are not a consideration for me.

Not as good as CCI sv in my rifles. Both less previse and more malfunctions. I had to put a suppressor on one to get it to run mostly reliably.

I’m slowly working through my stash of panic 22lr and replacing it with CCI sv.
