Hey folks. Shot my first PRS a couple weeks ago and i'm looking forward to doing some more. Just started reloading. Was shooting 6.5 creedmoor but i'm transitioning to 6 GT. Looks kind of like i'll be going against the grain by loading 6 GT with H4350, but I have 8.5 lbs of it, so varget will have to take a back seat until i burn through most of this powder.

If anyone else is in the Northern Virginia area or shoots at peacemaker or quantico, or XCAL, HMU.

WAR, Quantico, Mason Dixon matches (PA and MD) are your closest ones. Sheepdog in NY and MKM near pittsburg and Pigg River down in Rocky Mount, VA are a little longer drives. Matches sell out fast so put them on calendar so you can signup when they go live.

I’ll be at the mason dixon one June 8 in Gap, PA. Havent decided if ill do a hotel yet. 3 hour drive.

Quantico if frustrated by two issues, the first is the loss of many of our Match Directors to change of station moves. We should have Tim Hichak back in July, who is a huge fan of USPSA and PRS Centerfire. We also have a stand in for Steel Challenge so those should be GTG as is PRS Rimfire. The second issue is a change in USMC training that is closing us on Sundays, which is when we usually shoot R4 to 1,000yds. We're working the issue and hope for a positive resolution.

Tim is coming back? That's great news. The last match at Quantico wasn't too bad. 2 stages were iffy including one they threw out but much better than the matches of the past. I dropped from like 3rd to 8th when they threw out the last stage LOL.

I'd love to but typically Saturdays are hard for me to get away with kids sports and stuff. Usually it's easier for me to take a day off of work during the week and go to Peacemaker

I’ll be up there Wednesday training pistol mostly. Usually on Wednesday the only rifle range open is independence, but I have to do some load development anyways.

We were out there this past Saturday the 24th. At this point we are go for Sunday 6/1.
