Rifle Scopes Question on Butler Creek Cover

They list 2 models of covers, Multi Fit and the Flip Open, is one better then the other? Which model is more popular.

Second item, I have a Vortex PST which has a soft eye piece surround, how do you get that eye piece cover to fit.

Butler Creek Cover don't work well on some scope. I know a guy who had one on a scope which had the focus all the way at the back of the scope. The flip cover covered the focus and to turn it you had to turn the flip cover, but he seemed happy with it... Also I had an older scope which had a sun shade and putting a Butler Creek Cover flip cover on the sun shade noticeably reduced the field of view.

No experience with BC caps on Vortex scopes but use them on all my scopes SS, Leupold, & S&B w/o any problems.
