Well I'm headed out to Africa in the early AM.
Orders will still be taken while I'm out of the country. Just call the shop and leave a message with Darlene 706-367-8881. Someone will contact you shortly.
I will be back Sept. the 27th with some new goodies.........

In the meantime I will make every attempt to post at least one photo a day from my trip to Africa. You can check it out on our Facebook page (Facebook link) or here in the hunting section.
Hunting section

All coms will be via Satellite and spotty at best. I won't be able to respond to PM's or questions on the hunting post. There will be plenty of time when I return.

Thanks for all your support and I look forward to the lengthy discussions when I return.

Thanks
Jered

Re: Current APA status 8/24/11

Just to give you guys an update after Africa on lead times. We are running 6 months on builds that require us to order all the parts, 90 days on builds where customer supplies parts, thread jobs etc. under 30.

Thanks for all the business and support we've received lately. It's greatly appreciated.

As much as i like the tactical/camo scene. When it comes down to a custom gun, this is where its at. Not knocking anyone, but a tactical gun, can be put togeather by anyone and painted over. They are Custom, when the details show and have to be perfect. And a Mannlicher in a nice walnut is the best. awsome work from the pics, are you guys doing the checkering and case coloring as well. Ill have to give a call.

Re: Current APA status 8/24/11

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we would be having a price increas e effective in 60 days on some of our parts. I don't have all of the numbers together yet but we are creating a new pricing structure. We will honor all current pricing whether we have the item in stock currently or not. However
If the item is not in stock you will have to be on the waiting list to receive the old pricing when it's ready. The rings will be released at the promised price but we have a big waiting liste so I would recommend you drop me an email if you want to be added because I doubt the first 250 set we have in the works are going to last that long. We have some out for anodizing now and more running on the machines.
If you need to drop me an email please do so at [email protected]

I apologize for my hermit like lifestyle as of late but we have been running wide open for months now. I have hardly had time to get on here at all. Yet we have still had outstanding support from this community and I'm very greatfull to you all.

Properly prepared, a pretty stick of wood, produced by God, and crafted by man, equals or beats synthetic except in extreme environments for long periods.

Also, I admired that tactical rig of Jered's at a match and I can't stop thinking about it. Its probably like crack for a cold turkey addict.

It was myself and .257 (Joe) in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. My load and dope is pretty much spot-on, but I've got to talk to you about this group:

What's with that 5th shot at 9 o'clock WAY outside the others? .371 MOA at 500? Really? Ha ha, I'm pretty confident I've found an acceptable load.

I'll give you a call tomorrow or tues, might need some rings. Thanks for keeping the good stuff coming!

Here is one of Chad's little creations. It's a lighter German lectern theme. It may look like just a lot of little squiggles but that's a lot of time. No to mention there was ton of extra doodads such as lasers lights, optics and another upper that aren't shown.

Re: Current APA status 8/24/11

Quick question. I saw in a magazine that you have a Paragon rifle that has a 1/4 MOA guarantee. I don't see anything on the website on pricing or other details. Is there somewhere I can get some info? Thanks.

Re: Current APA status 8/24/11

Funny that you mentioned that. I haven't released it yet. It's going to Harris for a review. That was supposed to be it's debut. I didn't think the other deal was going to hit the stands before the Harris deal was done. Here is a better photo with some specs.

This is shown with an optional suppressor. The standard model will be 22" w/o a suppressor. The photo is also missing the UNS mount that will be standard.

Offered in 223 Rem & 308 Win
APA Genesis action
30 MOA APA rail
Manners TF1 stock
Broughton #6 5C barrel 22"
Huber trigger @ 2.5 lb.
APA RTG trigger guard with AW mag
Iron Brigade UNS mount
2 Flush cup sling mounts on the left hand side
1 APA TAC stud in front for the bi pod. Atlas Hardware is optional.

Those will be the standard specs. The price has not been finalized yet. We have been so busy there has been much time to breathe. That's why I've been somewhat absent from the boards as of late.
