SnipeX gel-Revitalizant for rifle barrels is an advanced new product, featuring the patented revitalization technology. SnipeX restores/repairs the rifled barrels affected by: erosion from heat, micro cracks, chrome knock offs, caverns, traces of corrosion, worn out rifling lands. SnipeX upgrades characteristics of new firearms to make them a higher-class weapon.

Packed in a handy tube, SnipeX is easy to apply and treats the barrel in just 30 shots. With no tools, no down time, SnipeX will restore the barrel's inner geometry from scratches, micro-cracks and spalls. Re: Snipex Question

if it sounds too good to be true it probably is - sounds like a counter-sniper scope -
Stabilizes gyroscopic positioning of the bullet - what is that?

Re: Snipex Question

Probably another bore polishing agent, or else just plain old oil from something other than a snake.

In case you hadn't caught our drift, stay the hell away from that product. It will not do anything to help you, except reduce the weight of your wallet.

Re: Snipex Question

It sounds like "Restore" that stuff you put in your oil for your car and it will fix your rings and compression on the engine?? I doubt that it helps anything other than someones state of mind if they believe in it!

WTF? Soo...something in you barrel can effect a bullets performance on an animal downrange? </div></div>

It also looks like it shrinks your shot groups BUT only at 100 yds... Must be due to the gyroscopic positioning.

Let her know I'm available for "facials" and she can save her money.

Re: Snipex Question

There was another product marketed a few years ago by a large name maker of cleaning items. You apply it every couple of hundred (or thousand, I can't remember which) shots and it did all sorts of miraculous things for your bore.

After finding out that the product was really expensive, and costing out how much it cost to do the applications according to the manufacturer, I came to the conclusion that it was more cost effective to simply buy a new barrel when the old one wore out. If I have to spend $100 to treat the bore every one to three thousand rounds or so, I can nearly afford a new barrel from Kreiger, Obermeyer, Schneider, Lilja, Rock, etc.

And I know darned well that the fresh throat in a new barrel will shoot well.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Not needed. According to shotgun news they could not tell which one was more clear.
