Just bought a S&B PMII 5-25x56 with the MSR Reticle. Ordering a Gap 10 .308 with either an 18" or 20" barrel. Will be shooting occasionally out to 1000 yards with 175 grain FGMM. Whats the best way to mount this scope? I know that S&B Scopes come with the elevation adjustment set to over half the elevation range. Should I use a mount with a cant, if so how much? Rings?

Don't the GAPs come with a 1pc mount that is canted already? Only problem I can think of is that the objective bell might be pretty close to the handguard.

Mine came with the mount. I use a NF 5.5-22x56 with no problems, not sure though about the S&B, ask GAP, they are usually more than helpful.

The come with the 2moa single piece mount made for them by Badger now. You could probably request rings instead though if you wanted, but the mount they send is nice and works great on an AR platform...

I have a 5-25x56 S&B mounted in a GDI one piece mount on my GAP-10 and have no problems with clearance. It is the 20MOA mount.
You will have no problem using the one piece that comes with the GAP-10.
