Have been spoiled with the wealth of dies available for 308 and 223. Getting into 260 Rem and the supply of dies is not so generous.

I really like Lee collet neck sizing dies but they do not seem to make one for 260 Rem. Only 6.5 I found is for 6.5 x 55 Swede. Don't know if that would work or could be modified to work.

Would really appreciate hearing from 260 Rem reloaders.

Thanks,

Re: 260 Rem dies

I use a Forster set, and after using all kinds for differebt calibers I like the Forsters the best. I still use a Redding Type S bushing neck sizer though, as I already had it for 308. Just bought a bushing to fit my 260's neck amd rocked on, works great.

For full length sizing and especially seating I like Forster best because they seem to be more polishe inside the sizer, and the seater has the alignment sleeve. Haven't noticed any difference in accuracy with ammo produced by dies from anybody else though.

Re: 260 Rem dies

Lee does make a .260 collet die, I have one. I use it in conjunction with the Redding body die. I also have the Forster F/L die set with micrometer seating die and to be honest the F/L die works every bit as well as body sizing then neck sizing.

I like the Forsters too.
I got a second set with the micrometer seater for a new rifle today.

I would be very grateful if you could tell me where to find one.

Edit: Now I feel kind of dumb. Went to Lee's webb site and there it is. Didn't find Lee 260 Rem dies at any of the major vendors sites I looked at.

Thanks for the jump-start.
