They have a M700 type striker and cocking cam with a Savage type baffle and bolt head. So the rear is M700 with the front being Savage.

I just got mine put together by R W Snyder...so far during load developement...shoots really, really well.

The Bighorn is by far the smoothest action I own. My Remington SPS Tactical AAC-SD doesn't even come close. The Remington takes substantially more effort to lift the bolt handle on an empty chamber when compared to the Bighorn.
