So I have been realoading for about a year and I want to take out some of the margin of error I get with my current setup. Right now I have a lee kit and have picked up a cheap digital scale, cheap dies, cheap tumbler, etc. If someone knows of an article or prior post that talks about bullet comparators, sonic cleaners, neck turners and so on.

for what its worth. i load with LEE dies on a LEE press being backed up by Hornady and RCBS chamfers, comparators, scales etc etc. i throw my charges with the cheapo lee then trickle to the weight. you can invest the big money on fancy dies, scales etc but at the end of the day how much will you gain and is it worth the untold dollars you are about to spend? most of the lee equipment is serviceable and will make better than factory ammo. YMMV

Does your rifle shoot well with your reloading setup? What kind of groups are you getting? If your answer is great, no need to change! If your heart is set on upgrading your equipment, then replace it as it wears out. May take it awhile, but it will. Just my 2cents

I think my biggest problem right now is my dies which give inconsistent oal and my scale which will vary .5 on the exact same weight reweighed over and over....and ive made sure there is no draft in soome etc.

Re: Need supply list for next level reloading

I would take it piece by piece. For OAL are you using a comparator or just calipers? Maybe a competition style seater die will help, maybe not.

Sounds like a quality scale is in order. Maybe an RCBS Chargemaster for the scale and increased production as a bonus?

As stated above how are you checking your OAL? If your scale is off by .5gr it should have already been in the trash or fixed by now.

FYI stay away from neck turning unless you need it!
