need help to find an AR10 barrel

I did my research, and followed lots of post, but every time I called someone, like WOA, or Lilja , they don't have 308 16" barrels for AR-10
Will you guys help me out, where can I found a high end 308 barrel for my new Mega Arms Monolithic Upper/lower?

If you're actually going the AR-10 route:

Call them and see if you have to use the SASS gas system or not.

762SASS as noted above is a good source, as well as Rainier Arms (they carry Rainier/Shilen UltraMatch tubes, Noveske, etc.), DSG Arms (they carry Noveske), the EE on BARFCOM, the PX here on the Hide, etc.

Krieger actually stocks some. Look on their inventory page. You will have to send them your bolt, and it takes about a month for turn-around.

ETA: nm, I didn't notice the 16" part.

magyar,

go to www.rainierarms.com and go with either their 16" Select (blackhole weaponry barrel $295) or the ultramatch (shilen blank chambered by WOA $395).

Both options are cheaper than going with the other options mentioned. I suggest buying a barrel and bolt and having them check the headspace.

Black Hole....I've had 6. Of those, 2 have been reasonable.
Barrel 1- shot in excess of 6 MOA (after "hot" 10rds or more)
Barrel 2- Shot in excess of 4 MOA (after "hot" 10rds or more)
Barrel 3- (this was actually a warrany trade of barrel 2)- Depending on ammo, this barrel shot 2-5 MOA
Barrel 4- (308) Something was wrong with the extension (bolt would not go into battery & it didnt matter if the barrel was on or off the gun)
Barrel 5 & 6- (these were a 308 barrels) Shoot great, hot cold doesnt matter what load you shoot through it.

The ones I referenced were Black Hole Weaponry barrels. Specifically 223. Interestingly a respected 3 gunner was recently saying he had one(223)that was great. I guess its a real crap shoot on the 223 barrels.
