Alpha Magazines in AICS or Badger M5

So, if I read correctly, Alpha type I magazines are the correct option for a .308 Remington action in a stock that takes AI mags.

Anyone have experience with these? I like the double stack design for ease of loading vs the single stack.

yes i have two type ones. i have seen some posts about ill fitting mags when fully loaded. i have not had any trouble out of my two. i run a mcrees g5 with their bottom, and have had no feeding issues.i got mine 6 months ago. they seem to work fine. cant tell you how they work in a badgers, i have been very happy with mine if it helps.

Save up and buy AI mags. There have been quite a few problems with them.

Alpha Type I's run fine in my 6XC/Surgeon/Rock Solid and AICS mags run better in my 6.5CM/R700/Manners mini chassis

I have a pair of Type IIs that run fine in my AICS. Like shrompman though, mine were purchased 6+ months ago. Seems like things have changed..

i know mcrees is making mags now check them out. i havent held one but they offered when i bought my chassis.

The Mcree mags look like they're single stack too. I was hoping to find a double stack design like the Alpha ones.
