Re: scope for a long range 22 shoots

from a 50 yd zero you're gonna be looking at around 14.8ish mil or 60ish moa to get to 300.
This is using SK match in a er shaw 18" barrelled 10 22.

ive been extremely pleased with the swfa fixed 6x. had the moa version and recently swapped it out for the mil version. You may want a little more magnification but personally i enjoy the 6x. mine is mounted on an EGW 20 moa base. With the release of the mil version i would think some deals on the moa version will be steady in the for sale forum.

these are some old 300yd groups before the stock was bedded. havn't taken any recent group pics. after bedding the groups stayed similar but POI is much more consistant.

Re: scope for a long range 22 shoots

I have used the 3-9x 22 Long Rifle Rapid Reticle as seen on these little rigs to get out that far no problem. Add turret clicks to reticle's lower 21 MOA line and it works to some extent. In conjunction with various Burris Pos-Align inserts you should be able to get to 50-60 MOA with a lot of optics. Love this particular PFI though due to excellent windage reference on the lower line--

That's impressive with the charger. I like how it's a bit like a tripod once you have the monopod extended from the pistol grip; haven't seen that before

Re: scope for a long range 22 shoots

Love that arrangement. Allows me to use a tall Harris from prone effectively. Doesn't seem to effect accuracy at all either. Have actually won a match using the Accu-Shot Monopod. The 1 in the pic is the CTK. I've switched to the AS though now.
