Sidearms & Scatterguns my hunting knife gets a makeover

a local friend of mine "don shuffet" made this knife for me and it has been an awesome blade. It has wore wooden scales and a leather sheath for years, i didnt mind the leather but the slick wood did get a bit slippery when skinning game. I gave it a little makeover and made a differnt sheath for it giving it a whole new feel.

Cool but, I can see the paracord gettin all funky with critter goo during skinning. Of course you could always re-do it when needed.

Looks like a heck of a skinner. I'd think the para cord would get pretty slick with moisture as did the wood. You'll have to let us know how it does.

I use a Buck 110 and it gets slippery as a banana. Nostalgia counts for something, right?
